Hey everyone! I've been lurking around here for a couple weeks and I finally mustered up the courage to make my own sketchbook.
I've never been one to practice fundamentals outside of art classes, and I'm hoping that posting here will inspire me to study the basics.
Anyways, feel free to comment and critique!
Some photo studies from the past couple weeks.
And something from yesterday! Forgot to upload this with the previous post, haha.
courage ? yes,it always need some to show others what we drew. but I think you needn't any "courage" to post your work ,because they are good engouh.

The profile of the girl in the picture that you currently have as the thumbnail for this thread is so gorgeous.

your digital work is so energetic!
and you have a great sense of color those hand studies especially
awesome, keep posting!
I love your work's airy simplicity and colour. Please keep it up Consider me subscribed. The facial portrait and hand study in #2 are lovely. I'd love to see you try something "ugly". Meaning, a portrait that's dark and a little bit grotesque. Just to see what you can do with it.
Those are some great hand studies, did you use the eyedropper to get the colors? Nice loose expressive lines on your figures.
Goodness, your avatar is so cute haha. I had to visit your sketchbook.
I really like this: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...1&d=1331068774

Ooh awesome stuff! I love the first piece in your latest post - the colours are so bright and eyecatching .
Please drop by my sketchbook and help me improve!
I like what you're doing with mixing the studies and imaginative work.
You might like to think about trying to incorporate some longer studies, still lives, figures, copies (masters, etc), etc.
That islander-looking girl with the flowers in her hair is such. A beautiful. Painting. I'm head over heels for it.
I love the bold painterly style you have with your figures. I think once you get your feet wet doing environment studies your gonna rock it.
I agree with Blue skies on the island girl - it's awesome - I think your first pic is my fave, I love the hair
