Thanks Smaragdia. Sadly it's just a study from an image I found on imgur (I'd say who the photogropher was, if I knew how to find the person), so I didn't come up with the composition or colors, etc. Nonetheless, I'm working on a new piece right now, so I thought I'd reveal my process. A buddy of mine pointed out it's reminiscent of Beauty and The Beast, and I agree with him.
o haha you do have the same study! Nicely done dude! I like it a lot. Really digging the chaotic brushstrokes. It adds a nice mood to the study.
Hopefully people dont confuse our sketchbooks because we have the same thumbnail.
That Atlantis looking illustration is nice! The lighting is a bit confusing to me, but then again it is an underwater scene. I say that because the figure appears to be kind of tucked between columns or something and a lot of light is hitting right on from the front. Not sure how that would actually work. But nice sketchbook and that steampunk looking village in your portfolio is awesome!

kimozabbi- Thanks for the compliment man! But it's not my hands you want, it's Jaime Jones, Maciej Kuciara, and Craig Mullins. I checked your sketches, your work shows promise, and your studies of helmets are fantastic!
Jarkuzy-Thanks. I checked your sketches and love the pencil drawings of architecture; I'm actually quite jealous of them.
