    Tommy Scott's Sketchbook

    Hey CA folks,

I decided to create the sketchbook to further involve myself in the forums community. I hope you enjoy what I have to offer.

The environment is a study from a photograph while I was testing paper textures in Painter.

The second was a portrait I wanted to do for a buddy I went to school with.

Strong start to the sketchbook; very nice studies. Nice website too.
I'll probably pop back in at some later point whenever you update.

If you ever have any questions, or you want help, all you need to do is shoot me a message.
    Can't hurt, right?

Thanks Toffers. I checked out your sketchbook and you have some nice images, and plenty of them to boot! And yes, I do have an old sketch I'd like to add:

Thanks Smaragdia. Sadly it's just a study from an image I found on imgur (I'd say who the photogropher was, if I knew how to find the person), so I didn't come up with the composition or colors, etc. Nonetheless, I'm working on a new piece right now, so I thought I'd reveal my process. A buddy of mine pointed out it's reminiscent of Beauty and The Beast, and I agree with him.

o haha you do have the same study! Nicely done dude! I like it a lot. Really digging the chaotic brushstrokes. It adds a nice mood to the study.
Hopefully people dont confuse our sketchbooks because we have the same thumbnail.

That Atlantis looking illustration is nice! The lighting is a bit confusing to me, but then again it is an underwater scene. I say that because the figure appears to be kind of tucked between columns or something and a lot of light is hitting right on from the front. Not sure how that would actually work. But nice sketchbook and that steampunk looking village in your portfolio is awesome!

Nice, Digging the thumbs. The caustics on the underwater scene look cool too. But I agree with the above poster about the lighting.

Damn the first image is freaking sick!I want to steal your hands and put it on mine so I could be as good as you, or yet better, hahaha.

kimozabbi- Thanks for the compliment man! But it's not my hands you want, it's Jaime Jones, Maciej Kuciara, and Craig Mullins. I checked your sketches, your work shows promise, and your studies of helmets are fantastic!

Jarkuzy-Thanks. I checked your sketches and love the pencil drawings of architecture; I'm actually quite jealous of them.

I was the lead background designer behind this Assassin's Creed: Revelations commercial back in November 2011. Enjoy!
