I've decided to to go for it and let this one out of the box He's the only one of mine to ever give me nightmares, up until the point I finally figured out what his face looked like, since then he's been great to work with. I haven't yet come up with what I consider to be 'the' picture of him so he's sketchbook for now.
He was more of an engineering project than anything, resource material came from of me, a couple of friends, lots of x-rays, a gibbon, a mummy, iggy pop and comedian mat fraser. Possibly the worst bit however was adding the spider eyes where his mouth isn't - I'm arachnophobic.
Anyhow, enough waffle from me....

Thankyou very much Meant to add- he was named after the Alice Cooper song of the same name which rather became his anthem - didn't use the same spelling however to avoid the temptation to refer to him as Steve...I'm still a little careful around him

good stuff, really creepy. Is it done in digital or traditional medium? I quite like that its not immediately obvious. I would have said pencil/ traditional but the top one has really sharp edges. Either way, good skills

He's done in charcoal pencil I wish I could get a better shot of the main image, its missing a lot of detail but it has really not been the weather for photographs here lately.
Annoyingly, all the action shots of him I had set up now just put me in mind of the human centipede posters, with hands everywhere - am going to have to do something really smart with it to get around that. Will keep you posted
