    WRappiii - Thanks for visiting. : )
littlebones - Hello fellow NS resident! : ) Thank you for taking a look. I will dabble further into PS and try to include color, as I progress.
P.S. I love your nickname and your avatar a lot!
Hunin - Hey, glad you liked Eli. It is indeed that persona. I love the original movie. : )
raqmo - Thank you. I'm trying to learn how to work properly, using flow/forms and it's a challenge. : )
Cider - Thank you. I did the skeletons as a quick sketch from a photo ref. So I can not take credit for putting emotion into it and I'm not certain, but it really looked like they were kissing. I sure hope they were not killed first and then put into those positions.. I need to watch less disturbing movies.
Lav - Thank you very much! : )
Jaik - Glad you like it, thank you. Hmm. I never thought of it as meticulous. I just draw something until it looks ok or I get bored with it.
Really made me think how I approach my work.
I've been drawing on and off for a few, very inconsistent years. I think I spend 4 up to 6 hours or so, on something that looks complicated. But it's different all the time.
You're very welcome for the advice. : )
bobtail - Glad you popped in again. Thank you for taking your time and looking. : )
Joona - Ha ha thank you. I have a loooong way to go.

Thanks everyone for taking your time commenting, I greatly appreciate your input!

Life has been very busy. Just settling down now, hopefully.

Anyway here is the usual; photo refs, some study, some from mind and some Spartan camp studies. I def need to do that again.

Your pencil drawing is great as I've already seen!
And I love the painterly feel that you achieved with the first two eyes and of course that third eye is awesome! Keep it up

    - Thanks guys. : )

I have been messing in Photoshop, a bit more, lately. Doing photo studies mainly.

Been working on the last image of the girl's head for quite some time. Aiming to make her look just like the photo.
Going to see how far I can go with it.

    eclip-se - Thank you. : )
Hunin - Hardly, had to use color picker for blocking colors in. Not confident enough to do it by eye completely. But drawing in PS is interesting, so i'm gonna try to stick with it.

I've been, mainly, doing gesture drawings past week. Trying to find the way to approach them that is comfortable.

Gorgeous pencils as usual, and your creatures are great. One thing I noticed is that they aren't all mouth agape, threatening some victim. I could actually imagine them having an existence outside of posing as a scary creature.

    nice update,

The drawings of women at the beginning of your post remind me of the way albrecht durer and botticelli portray women (that is a compliment ).

It looks like you have a really strong grasp of line, contour and negative space. Watch the proportions in your gesture studies, typically the groin is located half way down the figure, the legs being the same length as the upper body and head. Consider how the weight of the figure is distributed, is there a strong line of action or gesture?

Other than that, keep up the good work. The gesture studies are a good idea

I'm glad you like my name and av But you need to come back! Come on dude! You can't stop before page 3! I hope you've at least been drawing.
