Already have a WIP thread going for this project (link) but thought I would keep a separate thread for the finished images as I complete them.
Summary: I'm putting together a promotional illustrated mini-book, 10 pages or so, on the theme of the (somewhat embellished) autobiographical adventures of a freelance illustrator.
Here's my final image/tentative typography for the cover:
Any input or suggestions on making this a stronger image is still most welcome (hooray digital!).

those paint brushes on the girls back are a bit lost in the white logo, i like the style and over all composition i would darken
the cave entrance and sections of the castle, and maybe change the hue of the monster slightly to differentiate the beast from
the buildings on his back, maybe even add smaller clone/value shift clouds on top of the ones you have already for more volume?
just a few thoughts, hope it helps.
i like how theres almost a "Aart nouveau" kind of feel to it.
I agree with AdrianNagorski about adding a bit more contrast in the darker parts of the image and changing the hue of the monster, a slight green or blue tinge would work nicely i would think. Also I think the gap at the top of the image might be a tad to big but it's not too bad. The clouds look a little flat as well as parts of the castle. Also, i think the castle looks a bit small in comparison to the girl who doesn't look that far away from it.
But having said all that I think it looks pretty fantastic. Great job!
I agree that the paint brushes are a bit difficult to read. Maybe a highlight in the middle of the text "Illustrator" or a thicker white "force field" around them.

Here's the first completed interior illustration - intended to be a center spread. Input welcome!
These made me smile, you have cute style.
I really like your idea, creating a promotional book for your illustration talents. I hope it works out well for you. As far as the artwork goes, I really like how you use light or white outlines to help pop out your characters from the background. I can see how a little more dark contrast might help, but I also like it as is, as it seems to fit your style. My only suggestion is that the monster chasing you doesn't look all that mad/angry, might try something there.
