    Here are a couple of studies / sketches I did from observation.

    There were this nice sunset colors out of the window, so I quickly pulled out my colored pencils and tried to get it down. It didn't turn out too great, but it might give you an idea. ^^"
    And then I drew my cup of tea while I waited for it to cool down.

    And this is my workplace. Was fun to draw, but now my eyes are so strained I can't focus them properly. I guess I over-did it. XD

    Mainly I'm trying to do some stuff without the pencil sketch underneath, to force myself to see what I want to draw properly, since I won't be able to erase it. My eyes are not too happy, but I suppose they'll get used to it. ^^"

    One thing I love about your comic post there, is you can totally tell what's going on even though the text is absent, amazing narrative skills. Your character expressions are also full of life and energy, love it!

    Thanks a lot, it's great to hear that you can follow the story even without the words! It's what I always strive for.

    And I'm also glad you like my character's expressions, as I enjoy expression drawing very much and constantly try to improve it.

    By the way, don't you have a sketchbook here on CA? I really like what I've seen on your blog, I might link you on mine if that's okay!

    @Falchion: Thanks! ^^

    Here's a small illustration I painted today - it's rather quick and simple, because it was a gift for a friend who phoned me yesterday to meet this afternoon. It's a get well (because she broker her arm some time ago) and also a goodbye gift (because I'll be moving away and won't see her again in quite some time).
    So I didn't have time to think much about it, and I had to do it fast, but it came from heart.

    WOW. I'm SO GLAD I found your sketchbook, I really adore your style!
    Especially your watercolors (I think it's watercolors or is it some other type of colored ink? ) are really great and the colors are so vibrant.
    Please keep posting, it's really inspiring!

    I will be raffling this on my Facebook page, so if you'd like to win the original, you can go and check it out. ^^

    There are a couple of quick sketches I want to upload, too, but I have to scan them yet. I'll upload them tomorrow or something.
