Looking great! I like your anatomy studies, and those landscapes have potential too. May I ask where you get your body references from? I'm having trouble finding good ones.

This is a reply for EagleGrove
It was also posten on her scrapbook
So, there are many website I particulary like as reference! (BE careful, some may contain nudity and thnigs some people may be offended with!)
First of al, there is :http://www.posemaniacs.com/ A really good site for anatomy, muscle, position and movement of the body!
For anatomy reference, I use: http://inspirationalartworks.blogspot.ca/p/anatomy-images.html?zx=6d95d282fd203d1b really great!
For normal posing, almost as nude session, you should see those 2 websites : http://www.lovecastle.org/draw/ and http://www.artsyposes.com/
Finally, for concrete, sexy and nice poses I use for reference (viewer discretion may be advised) are:
1: http://x-art.com/models/ (girls reference) (really great for various pose, great lighting and amazing photo quality! ha models are also freakin cute (may contain a little bit of porn but mostly artistic nude, it's up to you) you can download most of their set free here: http://www.filecrop.com/search.php?w...r=1&engine_h=1
2: http://yellowasian.tumblr.com/ (men references) (really great for nice and sexy anatomy, the kind of body every guy would like to have! (may contain very little of homosexual men x men content, once again it's up to you) photo are less good quality than x-art but still, it's really good!
Will update with drawings tommorow

was great going through your sb, really nice figure studies
is there a particular method youre using for constructing the figures as in this picture? thanks
Painting depends on your state of mind and everything affects your state of mind. Use music, food, your workspace, your relationships and your intention to your advantage. Create an ecosystem of creativity for yourself.

aks9: Thank you a lot man, and for your question, I was just trying to figure out the volume of my shapes I don't actually work with thoses lines usually but it's still a really good exercise for understanding mass and volume of you figures ^_-

Your traditional sketches are really nice. As far as your digital stuff goes, I would recommend not using the smudge tool so much and try and block-in the lights and shadows only using the round brush + palette knife. That way you will get much more consistent lighting.
Sinon, continues comme ça, tu es bien parti.
A creative artist works on his next composition because he is not satisfied with his previous one. When he loses a critical attitude toward his own work, he ceases to be an artist. - Dmitri Shostakovich
