    Reboot - Level 0 (Abandoned)

I thought a long time about what my first words should be. As always I wanted
some kind of speech that shows my intentions and my motivation. Well, after
several years of trying this over and over again Ive learned an important
lesson about me: The more I talk big the less I actually do!

This time I will let my actions speak. As the title says, Im starting from zero
again. You will get pretty soon what I mean by that. Maybe Ill talk a little on
    the go.

I hope you guys will help me to get the best out of me and I will try my best to
    do the same!

Thats what I did the last few days. I tried to do warm up paintings every
day, but sadly I was very busy and had not time at all to do any studies -.-
All warm ups about 1 hour and all studies about 30 min. I tried a different approach every day.

Interesting game you have there - personally I would have gone with hours instead of pieces, since it takes a crap-tonne longer to do a sculpture than a drawing. I'd be tempted to make a bunch of little tiny stuff just to fill out the numbers >.<
    Good luck & happy sketching.

@Rhubix: Well, the system is still in the alpha stage^^ Youre right, it takes much longer. So depending on the duration I will try to adjust the levels.
Actually I would be tempted to work slower I think this version works better for me^^

What ever gets the job done -
On my SB you asked me how to loosen up your drawings- best exercise is gesture drawing- sites like pixilovely are good, or out and about (I like the subway). Do quick drawings between 30 seconds and 5 minuets. It forces you to care more about action then pretty.
Use something thick too- like a crayon, conte, or pastels - that way you look at big masses instead of little lines.
This is one of my favorite exercises- I can do 45 drawings an hour - no problem ^_^

I like your level system, seeing things organized in charts makes me Are you going to make each level exponentially harder to reach? Like to get from 0 to 1 is 100 pieces each... will 1 to 2 be 150, 2 to 3 be 250, and so on?

I like your little pug! As for your pencil drawings, shading with the pencil tilted so the lead is flat against the page helps for doing quick and bold shading, rather than hatching in tiny little lines. Unless you're going for a sort of crosshatch effect; if so, disregard this post.

@Rhubix: WOAHHHH!!!! Thank you so much! The only thing I knew before this was posemaniacs, but this is way better! I started doing gestures right away. See below ;-)

@littlebones: Im not really sure yet. Like I said, its pretty alpja at the moment^^ But I will definetly change many thing as I make some progress :-)

Thanks for the tip. I will try it both ways and see what works better for me.

@Neyut: Great idea. As you can see the new version includes landscapes and backgrounds! Thank you ;-)

Heres what I did the last 2 days....I not really proud of the second quick digi -.-

This is the Spartan Camp! It's under the main Community Activities header. Every week, a new challenge is chosen; it's always 50 gestures of your choosing plus an optional challenge. It's a really great incentive to practice, though it looks like you have enough motivation either way.

    Great start to your SB!
I like the value painting of the monster and the last digital paintings.
Upon looking at your first painting posted here (the one of the dog) I would have said that you should maybe do more value studies.
But I see that you have already caught up on that since there is such a difference between the first digital piece and the last two digital pieces you posted.
    Keep up the good work!

@littlebones: Well, at the moment, but maybe Ill need some motivation later. Thanks for the info!

@Voodoo_Mama: Thanks. I think I still need a lot of value practice, but its good to know that I do some progress at all.

@tronrobot: Thanks. Yea, its works pretty good at the moment. I hope that I can keep this up. Ill try to improve it as soon as possible and maybe other people will be able to use it too.

@Pete Hidalgo: Thanks, I definetly will, as soon as I see it in your signature. ;-)

    Todays work^^

I deleted all my brushes so I can finally learn how to create own one. Tried so long to create some that work for mountains...sadly I failed.

At least I learned a few thigs. I will write them down tomorrow, when I try to actually use them on own paintings.

Wow, I dont know waht happened, but somehow I lost track a little. But Im back on my feet and ready to follow my dream. I did not stop working, I just stopped uploading. And I started to work on 3D stuff and programming a lot. Sadly there was lees time for drawing and painting, but Im trying to get everything balanced, so I manage to do everything! XD
