    Tcrakman's Sketchbook

    Hi, im from Guadalajara, Mexico.
I first looked through this site almost five years ago and since then, i ve been trying to get better at what i do.
The year is starting so why not start it well? that was the thought that pushed me to finally open an online SB, and what better place to start it than here, in CA.org, where people gets constructive criticism all the time!
All my current work is in black and white so, for my new year resolution as an artist, my priority will be mostly to learn color, values and lightning.
Nothing much to add except hope everyone had a good christmas and also wish everyone a happy new year! okay so...here we go!
(i hope im doing this right, cuz its my first time posting )
EDIT: these drawings (except for the first one) are from waaaay back , i will try to post more recent ones later...

You're on the right track, man Since you've been here for five years, you probably already know of it, but Loomis is an excellent resource for studies/practicing, especially for proportions.

I'm impressed by your eye for little details but it seems that you might focus on the details a little early, before you "perfect" (is there even such a thing as perfection ) the rest of the image. If this isn't true, disregard that, but if it is then focus on the big stuff before you work your way down to the nitty gritty.

Honestly this is a really great start and I can't wait to see what you can accomplish with colour!

You're right, i need to start really focusing on the solid aspects of the drawing rather than detailing it from the beginning.
Loomis books have teached me mostly all that i know about figure drawing, i will go back to them but first i need to learn some color and values.
Also going back to the basics never does harm (I have lost some practice).

okay so, here are some new pieces, still in B/W as soon as i know on how to use photoshop D:

    arm and back studies...
    Tcrakman's Sketchbook

characters and poses(sorry for the presentation)...
    Tcrakman's Sketchbook

and finally a character concept of a game i did and havent finished...
    Tcrakman's Sketchbook

I have more, much more, but these are some of the best i found for an update!
    Also as final note:
for the sake of a learning experience in both photoshop and color theory i will start a webcomic i will post some pages later!

These are my latest drawings (the first three from imagination).
Started studying animation in may in the Universidad de Artes Digitales in Guadalajara Jalisco, México.
Practically all my homework has been about drawing and learning anatomy, portraits and simplified poses in general (just to know the basics about animation).
So, here are some of my best studies!
