    Aaron Riley

Ok. I'm another new guy. I recently moved to Virginia to start working in the TAD RVA studio. I'm currently working on building my portfolio. Thought I might as well join in here too.

Hi Aaron, great stuff, especially the drow lady. Sorry the last one too so long to approve, it got caught up in the spam filter. It shouldn't be a problem any more.

    Hey, great stuff here!

I find myself studying your work, and all the works in "It's finally finished!", as well as the Critique thread to study how people do stuff, since some of my own art has become stale, lackluster, and (most worrisome) amateurish. I'm not practicing enough.

    Thanks hitnrun.
It seems that you have the answer. Every one of those problems can be fixed with practice, so just keep at it. There will always be times when things aren't going well, and you don't want to practice. When I fight through those moments is usually when I discover the most.
If you want to know how I created these, there is some process stuff on my blog.
    Good luck.

the first artwork's head isnt correct because its to wide the sword should be from the inside and not shown from the outside , look howmuch space the sword takes and you can still see his nose.. you should correct that

dmo0113 - That was intentional. It is to split him into two people, yet still one, the silhouette still reads as one person. The sword was used as a kind of graphic element too. Like if it was a book, that could be the spine.

    Another new piece

Another one, just done. I had been working on it for awhile. Based on the Opera Event in Karazhan (World of Warcraft).
