I don't fully understand what do you mean the difference between copying and translating? I'm very much interest in doing some bargue studies

gotcha, is more analysing in order to do less actual work in the piece, but also understanding the construction or something like that.
Here's another figure drawing. This one has some digital touch-up, but is mostly vine and compressed charcoal.
This image has sat unfinished for a long time. Originally I was going to render it more tightly, but I will leave it as so.
Great studies Lane! Particularly your paintings are a delight to look at. You´ve got great edge control. Keep it up.
