Good stuff, Joe. I'm excited for our perspective thread. Are you excited? You better be. Oh, you better be...
And I feel like you're such a tease with the game stuff. I wanna SEA MOAR! And is it a personal thing between friends, this game, or are you big time pro now and leaving us all behind with your awesomeness?
Oh, I've posted it a couple of times, but I'm out of town for a few days, but I'll post some shit for our puzzles when I get back.
joe those submarine thingies made my nose bleed from being so god damn good, your industrial design skills are seriously impressive.
Those submarines are insane. More!
Wow! I love all your updates
All your shapes look interesting and everything looks so clean, any secrets you care to share? hahah
Crits and help of any kind are more than welcome!
Love those subs, Scott Robertson will be in my list for sure!
I should be working on my perspectives, good work man. what are your sources please?
Love those updates man , The subs are pretty good looking , pretty strong forms
The only real failure is the failure to try
Awesome work man. I really dig your mechanical and industrial design stuff. Some of it even reminds me of Syd Mead.
Great stuff. Try making them interact in some way, like a fight, or one fixing/building another. Put them in an environment too.
Lovely design Joe, and so clean! #240 looks awesome are you familiar with Dynamic Sketching - Peter Han?

Some of those gasmask designs are awesome! A couple of them reminded me of Bioshock. Thanks for commenting on my thread too . Also I've been contemplating if I should join that perspective thread, because I think it would motivate me to study more perspective stuff. Anyway, rock on

awesome update man, really like that you started painting and as usual the constructions are great!
might try to copy some of them,I think I can learn a lot from those basic forms.
Oh man, so much awesome stuff! Loving the tanks, looks like you're really getting into how these things work. The cat study is superb. Keep 'em coming!
hey dude thanks for stopping by my sketchbook, your perspective work and industrial design stuff is really inspirational! inspires me to work on that more, did you ever watch the gnomon video by scott robertson about drawing cars? it seems like a similar method to what he uses is all, all in all great sketchbook man, definately subscribed. its great to see such a good self taught artist, gotta push myself harder if i ever want to reach your level dude . keep up the great work man

hey joe great to see you start painting.those studies look a bit formless though, maybe buy some geometric forms
and do value still life of them,I am doing that right now and it helps a bunch.I also think the reference you picked is not ideal for educational purposes, you want photos
that show form with simple clear shapes with limited values.
I think within no time you will do great.
Hey Joe, it's great to see you jumping into painting, man. It's a huge leap from line drawing, as I'm sure you know. Right now I think you're "juggling" too much by trying to paint with color before you understand your values well enough. Do as much greyscale as you can for now.
oh my goodness those metal slug-esque tanks are killing me!~~ keep at it!
take a peek at my SKETCHBOOK?

great ideas man, maybe pick your favorit one out and try to fully render it with heavy emphasis on what material it has, keep pushing!
great updates dude, love those tutorials and the studies, keep it up.
