I personally learned a lot of things about gesture by trying to draw figures in really weird positions. You get to know what the body looks like not in just one static form, but in a vast different variety, as well as improve your gesturing.

Great work with the anatomy studies! I like the ships in #3. It would be nice too see more of that kind of things. The sketches in #56 and #52 is just so cool and arty, it's brilliant!

Hey, very good studies! Those engines in #98 are insane! The perspective and details are awesome! You’ve got even the smallest bolt in place. It would take me ages to make such a thing!
The vehicle sketches are very impressing and I was wondering if they are from imagination, or from an image? Love to see the precise work you’re doing, including the perspectives of course.

JBogart Thanks alot for stopping by! Cool music!!

jdavisillustration hahaha thanks alot for that comment! Thats what im aiming for! To draw and rotate in 3d space

Greenhouse Thanks! Yea that stuff does take ages to draw and is really scare cause i draw them in pen after the marker rough. The 1930 cars are from phot ref but i drew them in my own perspective so i had to rotate them a bit in my drawings.

kevinThanks! I need to keep kicking up the notches lol Must get better! lol

Staal SanderThanks! Im sorry to hear about what happen with you. I cant wait to see your updates though!

    Update!
This subject is kicking my ass, im having a hard time with buildings and enviroment stuff in perspective. But i think im starting to get somewhere. Must get this down cause next is interiors in perspective. Should start that on monday of next week.
Also some orginal thumbnails and a painting of Bane!

You are killing the perspective. Amazing. Close your eyes and imagine Silvester
Stallone and his face/voice, saying; “You are killin it!”.
That’s how good are you, I got so excited. I was listening your songs a page
or two back, intensely superb vibes. I need your help. About perspective tips
and some useful advices. For example I want to pencil draw some objects,
like the buildings in Warcraft or Starcraft. So I want for example to create
a barracks, church and lumber mill. I will draw the first object in some
random perspective, that’s no problem. But how do I manage to do the
other two buildings in the same perspective, viewed from almost same angle?
Is that possible? Should I draw all the times the grid lines, or is there any
shorter way for that? Or should I use some 3D software for creating stuff
like this in the end? But I would like to create the buildings with graphite
pencil. Please help me out, I would really appreciate it. You are a true master,
take care, and thank you in forth for the help and answers.

Great studies as usual! The perspectives always amaze and inspire me! About the question last time. I meant the sketches in #98 and #99. Sorry I wasn’t clear about it and I called them vehicles, because I thought they were kind of. Anyway I think they are awesome and they fascinate me. Do you draw them from your mind or are they studies from photo images? Keep drawing I love your work!

    Quick Update!

LtPlissken Hey!! Thank you so much for stopping by! Its always cool to hear from you. I sent a response over to your sketchbook! Thanks!

Greenhouse Thanks for stopping by again! Yea those are all orginal drawings to help teach me how to draw objects from different angles. You have to first draw them in draft view(side and top for me) and then translate them to the grid. They were all drawn freehand with no ruler. Lots of fun

Drew a wacky building, just took a bunch of buildings and mixed them together into this. Was alot of fun. Took forever but its cool to test my patience and grow.

    One more

Wow i dont know where this came from but here it is. I decided to try out my wacom tablet for the first time in a month or two. This was alot of fun. Going to keep working on it all tonite. This is an orginal drawing with no refs and no tools to help with lines or elipses(as you can tell) just trying to doodle. Feels like all the visual libary and perspective studies are really helping. Yes, the visual library has been built up in your head and you are
using it now with full power. Something that I admire again. Looks
mean and determined this armored armed up dog mecha concept.
I never used messenger, and I am rarely a chat kind of type, but I
will look to fire up a Skype acc. send you my Skypename,
    so we could talk sometimes.
You take care till then, and thank you for
the suggestions and reply in my book.

hot damn dude, i swear i was only in here the other day and look at everything you've done.. though.. the other day could have been on facebook, or a month ago... or imagined... what day is it? where am i? Bad thing about this drawing venture is that time tends to slip by lol.
Wanna know a good way to go from pencil to wacom? you know all those hours spent drawing elipses.. do em all again on the computer.. i found that was what helped with lines etc.. Those buildings look awesome! So sick, urrggh i need more visual library, seeing you do all these studies makes me kick myself..

Keep it up man, you are improving sooo fast.

Yeah, I like what I see! Your studies are sweeeet man! Those Jacob Glaser studies are so cool! That Saw Pig is quite something! The nightmare of all farmers! I think it’s especially fun because the “truffle” are actually growing on its back! There’s no need for searching now….oh, it’s probably the French farmers best friend! Haha!
Keep it up, I love your work!

Man, your linework is great. You're really showing what intense perspective study can do and how quickly you can learn; I really admire your patience. I'd be curious to see what you could do taking some of these farther, applying more finished lighting to the really solid construction you've got as a basis. =)

Back in the good ol’ computer days, Ol’school yeah, I like
the idea and concepts very much. Floppy disks at 5.25 inches and
all that stuff. Handgun have a bit of wrong perspective and that’s why
it’s barrel looks a bit turned to the right. Reminds me on the plasma gun
from Fallout. Saw Pig, very interesting concepts, fun to watch your evolution
    day by day.
