I like your dinos!! If you don't mind me asking, is there a reason why the poses are so monotonous? maybe you could try action poses or something more dynamic but these are nice! keep it up!
I find it so difficult to move forms in dynamic poses and do all that foreshortening but I think it's worth trying >__<

Thanks! just stopped by your sketchbook Casben!
Day 7 of the 100 day anatomy challenge!
So im still taking a slight break from the technical stuff, i did this half study half imagination sketch page. I drew all the poses and perspective from memory then looked at refs to help with the detail. I feel like i'm really starting to be able to draw creatures from different angles better. Still got a lot of work to do though

You have a really great grasp on volumes. It's clear that you're always considering the masses of your shapes when you're drawing. I think you could try pushing those a little more and doing some crazy foreshortening (anatomy challenge day #14 is a great example of the dynamic work you can get by pushing at your comfort zone). Keep at it! You're doing great.
Check out my sketchbook! Socially acceptable opportunity to yell at a teenage girl!

Really nice updates. You are showing improvements in virtually every area. Congrats on the hard work you've been putting in. Your spaceship in the last post is pretty sweet... really nice line weights there.

Really cool sketchbook! I love everything, but especially the skeletons and anatomy work. Your perspective stuff is fantastic too, even though it all goes way over my head.

Great stuff all round. Keep pushing and posting!

    Hey there Joe!

I've been following your work over at facebook, I gotta say that I really like where your sense of design is going.
You're putting in so much work and I really start to want your stuff in games. I really want to fly that ship!

What I would really like to see is a tightly rendered painting of Astral Horizon MKVII floating in space with a big glowing planet somewhere - my pants would be dry no more.

Your determined attitude and diligent hard work can serve
as example for others, you are truly reaching the top, I can see
your big evolution revealed right in front of us once again.
Wish that the amount of strength and power could be transferred
from your spiritual ship, to our ever thirsty receptacles.
All these characters and creature designs, concepts, they
are just fascinating, you keep up with the great things.
