Very nice. It's quite hard to give any constructive critique to so highly stylised artwork, but it works in my book. I like the coloring.

What a great character, she is designed and rendered beautifully. The character sheet as a whole is designed well too, it's a great piece as a whole.

As drawings, or 2d model sheets, pretty awesome. as a functional 3d model sheet, these are pretty worthless. If you modelled this character like this, your meshes would have tons of stretching and wrinkling problems like you wouldn't believe.

I love the character, and the drawings, but if this is for 3d, it's no good.

I self-published a book on the fundamentals of drawing from life.

well its certainly not worthless, the pose you chose is not perfect if you are going to animate her.
but i think its a great char and your drawing gives a very clear idea about it

Yes it does ! But I hope to think this isn't the only model sheet for this character. Optimaly, you'd have another turn around focusing on details a bit more and on the construction of the character (some modelers like to have a "Da Vinci" pose). An attitude poses sheet or two is really cool to have in a model pack, as well as a facial expressions!

hi all. thanks for the comments.

just to clarify, this is specifically for the cgtalk 3darttopart contest (which specifically asked for front, side, back and posed views). the 3d model resulting from this is for 3d printing, not animating or low poly modelling. so that's why there's no other drawings. ordinarily i would do the colored drawing posed, but i like her 'default' pose.
