    Jon Sun Portfolio

My name is Jon Sun and I am a recent graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

I am looking for some input on potential directions that I can take my art. Throughout the past 2 years of school, I've discovered a lot of new mediums (I really got into metalworking, welding, and foundry), but I feel like I have become a jack of all trades, and a master of none.

Now, I'm really looking to buckle down and hone in on one area that I can focus on hardcore so that I can take my skills to a professional level. Any input would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Hey man. That is exciting to do new mediums. I envy your ambition.

But its hard to crit you when you don't know what you want. Choose what you like and make some goals. If you like it all, thats fine, but you still need some goals

I think you know which of the 2d art is stronger and which is weaker. As for the metal, I think theyre both cool but I have no idea if people would pay for them! What do people buy? Maybe you found a niche tho because I've never seen metal sculptures of fantasy things, but I dont look for it either.
