    How are you so fast?!
I like the design, though he doesnt look as cold as the brief sad, he's more humble or a bit intimidated and worried. Make him more proud and hard as steel!

The brief talked only about a cold stare. And well he's worried and intimidated indeed in my book. He's about to send his whole fleet to its doom, so I want show his human side. He's like a father to his comrades. Battle hardened, a tactical genius but in the end an old man who's about to go all in on a pretty bad hand.

ChaosTheory: Poses are symmetrical. Try stronger, more unique silhouettes and don't hide the hands. Middle is my favorite, costume looks cool. Is the skirt thing referenced from something real?

Pixeltuner: What's that on his head? Hard to tell if it's part of his anatomy or not the way it blends into his skull. The red is mostly the same hue/saturation, try varying it for appeal and to highlight certain parts. On the same note his head, shoulders, biceps, forearms, hands, ankles and feet are all very similar thicknesses/volumes.

spaethl123: His pelvis and head are pointing up but his shoulders are pointing kind of horizontal/down. It can be good to mix things up like that but in this case I'm not sure...maybe try aligning the pelvis and shoulders one way or the other?

Parsakoira: Cool lighting. Yeah arms look a bit short. What's futuristic/sci-fi?

    Here's my WIP:

Dforman: I don't necessarily agree on the red but I might play around with the proportions of his joints a bit for a more quirky look.

WIP - Commander Kandinsky watched over his fleets progress from the screens that were projected around him. Viewed from observational drones at key points within the fleet he had a pretty good understanding of what was happening, even though all he could see through his observation platform was giant shadows outlined by glowing explosions from weaponry human or alien.
Everything was always so far away in space, so separated, so detached. It was quite obviously a massacre, whatever had decided to attack, was dismantling his fleet, the strongest on earth, in mere minutes, all ready he had lost friends and family, he had taken himself off the radio a moments ago and watched the destruction in silence. He had already decided that nuclear warfare was necessary, and the 1000th projectile had been prepped. Clipping down the red catch, his ship Chernobyl opened fire, the thousand rockets leaving orange trails through the dark blue space. He did not not the consquences of the act he just made, all he could think was that he hoped he would make it out alive.

    This is a fun topic.

You know that some kind of AK-47 derivative must be present.
Because even if the rest of the world's armies start using lasers and plasma guns, the Russian military won't give up their AK. True story.
