    Trapped WIP

My first real thread, yay for me...

It's still a early wip as u see, maybe u guys have some ideas.
Cuz i'm not so sure about the upper left corner, if i should keep it empty or not.
Also can't decide to keep the cat or remove or exchange it with something else .... (penguin ??? idk?!?)
Don't expect a deeper meaning behind this, just wanted to draw someone trapped in stone.
Maybe if I know what to do with the rest of the pic, I get a story together, why the girl is trapped in stone...

Thx for looking and any ideas, comments, critique are welcome!

Did you sketch out the whole body before painting the parts that stick out of the ground? The girl's hair seems to "balloon" over her head, which I'm not sure if it's intentional or not, and looking at the cat, I would personally have it be as realistic as the woman, instead of a very cartoony cat (and seriously get a ref for that too).

    Thx for the cnc TinyBird!
But nope, the ref I used wasn't covering the whole body, just the upper-part and part of the right knee.
So I had to come up with the rest. I hope the proportions aren't too much off.
About the hair, I wanted to experiment here a bit. So the "balloony" look is kind of intended.
The cat is more a placeholder/reminder for me atm, cuz as I said I'm not sure where to go from here.
