A trick that might be helpful for you: to trick your brain into seeing a drawing with fresh eyes, hold it up to a mirror. Your drawings tend to be a bit lop-sided, that might help you notice it.
Keep up the studies!
You can always reset your password or something, strange that you cannot login anymore 0_0
Anyway, good studiesSome look a little off but I guess it is just a process of learning. :V (my stuff looks off all the time!)
your stuff is looking pretty good.keep going! i want to see full characters!

Wow, guess its hard to update dailySchool is a pain, oh well. I got a skull which i have been drawing from alot lately. Trying to think of shapes rather then just lines, I still suck though :/
@mariea I actually did that with a piece and I saw so many proportional problems. Thanks for the help
@Aragah Thanks, I still gotta study the legs! hahah
@NyeAlexandaFrayne I luv fresh starts
@zryanart Thanks buddy![]()

Hot damn son, that Hawkeye/ Deadpool thing puts me to shame...
fuck, I need to buy myself a skull now

Thanks for the friend request! Agreed about school, hope you get a break soon. The studies are looking good, keep posting! Your skull's cranium looks too small, might be a problem with the model.
Shapes and lines are still 2D. think 3D, go for form and volume! And think of it this way instead: you don't suck, you're learning. We all are. If we're constantly comparing ourselves to people better than us and focusing on how bad we appear to be, we're just gonna make ourselves depressed. Focus on your own improvement and be inspired by others, don't focus on the gap between skills!Trying to think of shapes rather then just lines, I still suck though :/
good luck!
Promising stuff in here.
Like it was mentioned before, just keep on practising heads, proportions and stuff and it will become better over time.
By the way, I can always recommend the books of Andrew Loomis.
They're really neat. ^^
So leg studies, taking a break from heads. Drapery will come... soon. I should do a still life
@Psychobuddy Hahaha thanks brah.
@Vertical Thanks for the encouragementI think the cranium being small is on my part
Though, I got the skull for 14 $, hahaha. But yah thanks again
(School does suck!)
@shockowaffel Loomis is awesome. Thanks![]()

Thanks for stopping by my SB!Your stuff is amazing! Now I want to get a skull too! XD
Oh, and like Liberty said, don't drown yourself on studies either! Keep a balanced amount between studies and some personal art too. You don't wanna take the fun out of painting now do ya?
Oh also, if you're finding it too hard to keep up with school and updating daily, then don't! My goal is to fill at least 1 page of my sketchbook per day, however I'll update weekly. You can try and do the same if you'd like. What matters most is how much you draw, not how much you update. A thought for the mind I guess. Although, updating daily may push you to draw more too.
Keep it up!![]()
Hey ven,
Youre doing great buddy
So many studies, thats awesome! Also youre still so young man,

Hey, nice sketchbook! Keep it up, I'm at somewhat the same stage you are at the moment, trying to work hard and improveSo yeah keep doing your studies and stuff! Cheers
Hey, good stuff you got going here. The Hawkeye/Deadpool image is looking tight.
I really feel that at this point you would benefit from trying out full figures from imagination. Maybe characters like Deadpool you're already familiar with. I'm saying this because I rarely see any works that has legs in it; none that is from imagination, anyway.
Maybe what I said was a little too specific, feel free to tell me if you think it's redundant. And keep updating.
Good hard work in here!
Make sure to check your work in a mirror to eliminate the skewing.
great amount of work man! keep going!

Draw draw draw! =) I like the ninja dude aswell =) Keep goooin! =)
Schools been keeping me busy, ACT Prep and all other stuff. Mehh I just fill in random bubbles. I did some characters, and i realized my proportions really suck and its something i have been avoiding and im not ashamed to admit it. It's something I believe is a piece of cake , when later in life it will bite me. Gotta work on that.
@ Liberty I dun understand the meaning of fun xD
@Luckycharm ThanksSchool is hectic, the daily posting this motivates me to study daily, even though I dont update daily(Unless its summer!)
@wasabi89 Heyyyyy, thanks mate! Though if your waiting for color, gotta wait longermy deathline was to work on pencil and contruction.
@Sushy But pokemon is awesome!
@dog-faced Thanks for dropping in, I agree totally, I have to apply my studies faster. Gotta get my head out of my butt and work smart!
@-D_art- Hahaha, yeah it sucks my old account went suicide. But IDC, i love this new account.

very very nice studies, i love skulls *-* i like the top character concept ;P keep it up ven!

Sick rendering on the legs! Make sure you lay down the basic forms and proportions and stuff before you draw in the final lines and details on those skulls. For example when you're starting out the study there are no teeth, just a weird disheveled cylinder. Step one is making sure everything is generally in the right place and the right size, then move on to specific stuff and making the drawing look cool.
Your studies are lookin' good. Definitely keep an eye on your proportion though. It's a problem (I have as well) that really takes careful observation and usually some double checking. .triple checking. .or more. . . .. .BUT definitely worth it. Keep up the studies! Some more personal work would be good to see, too!![]()
