Thanks guys ! something interesting , after thinking about college plans, I decided to go to CC for 2 years and then transfer to Art Center, saves my parents money, ain't cheap. I found a love to draw vehicles after watching Feng Zhu videos for the past 4 hours! Finished testing early so I drew some jets, free hand which is wrong of me.

Errr figures are so flat >.< Why do life drawing be in the summer? Also, planes, I gotta be more smart. I literally just drew random jets with no reference. Proportions are off ! I gotta start thinking of why stuff are there in terms of function, Military Channel time!

    Loving the improvement thus far!

Your studies, especially the hand studies are great, but I worry that you may simply be copying down drawings without absorbing too much of the information, as many of the portraits you have posted throughout the sketchbook have remained very sewed/slanted. To me this seems to be less of an absence of anatomy knowledge, but more a issue with you seeing the larger forms and how they are placed in 3D space . Are you trying to visualise the forms as they roll around the volume of the head and such?

I would recommend recommend getting this resolved above all else. I'm having the same issue myself, wanting to get to rendering and other fun bits, but if you spend some time really trying to absorb as much information from loomis and drawing from life, then you should see a massive improvement in your work

Best of luck, I shall be monitoring this sketchbook!
