nice foreshortening on ken's right arm but if you look at it closely-- it seems a bit flat? not sure if it's just me, but try to think of the limbs in simple 3D shapes (cylinders perhaps?). i know, i need to do this myself as well but try drawing some cylinders in different perspectives. should help! now.. if i can just do that as well ...

Thanks for visiting my sketchbook! Your pencil studies are looking great so far, but I'd just be careful with your shoulders. They seem to slope down too far, and they're not really broad enough to belong to a muscular man. Your forearms also tend to be quite large sometimes. I would definitely try to fit some arm studies into your schedule. However, your noses are coming along nicely!

You're on the right track with those head shapes. Check your drawing in the mirror, though. There's some serious slanting going on. That goes away if you conceive of all your shapes as solid 3D masses, it seems.

Keep at self portraits, I`m sure they will do you well as your head studies still look somewhat flat. And monster is awesome

Work's looking great! You've got a good handle on line and figures. You seem to be having a spot of trouble with heads, but getting them to look right in perspective can be hard. Study Loomis as much as you can for this. Learn the basic planes of the face and go from there. If you can get the basic planes to look right in perspective it's just a matter of breaking things down from there.

Also, excellent hand studies! I don't really have any complaints on these. It's good that your attacking hands so enthusiastically! That'll save you a lot of trouble in the future.
