Torsos, i really got stumped on the serratus magnus area. and a crappy pyramid head for apply torsos, I clearly mest up his head. But i was more focused on getting the torso right then anything else.
@ lemming-clone thanks manI haven't gotten around to doing personal drawings, just random characters really. But I'll get to that point soon!

Finally getting into applying my studies right after im done with them. Don't think Rocket Raccoon was a good way to do that, but it was fun.(His right hand was meant to be placed on top of the gun but I couldnt find good ref for it.) I want to get into drapery or just design soon primarily sci-fi( Cyborg, Cyber punk).
Later
@Wingal I like this new account, and yes I have heard that people have missed me on skype, xD. I just haven't been on.
@Trixtar I'm not taking any art classes at the moment( next semester I am) but I agree, something bigger.![]()
@Aragah Thhaaannnkks sir, your improving as well!

Great studies, keep it going!!
You killing it sexy boy!
Sick arms bro! I think what you put in your portfolio will depend on the school. Calarts apparently wants all expressive life drawings, other schools may want still lifes or illustrations.
Great job on anatomy!
Those arms!!!! I loved it!
Happy holidays~
I fell in love with straight hatching.Anyone care to see if i'm doing it right?
I have the problem of not going to dark in some areas. Generally trying to learn about values, rendering, and lighting at this moment.These figures are so badThough forcing myself to post them.
@ josh Hahahaha
@teapo He was a fun character to draw, xD Thanks Teapo!
@Sycra Thaaaannnkks
@Alex Eh You sexy!
@Vertical You might me right, I'll check with KCAD on it. Thanks!
@Ainuwolf Happy holidays to you to![]()

Be careful, hatching is a great way of laying down tone. But it can come out really patchy if you aren't careful!...DO IT -_-

Keep it up with the straight hatching! Hmmm sorry I don't have any critsJust follow the form and stuff...

hellooooooOooOoo venis that a Wes Burt study i see in the last post?
looks great! really admire his draftsmanship. let's both work hard to reach his level and beyond, yes?
hmm.. regarding the straight-hatching, i can't really say much but to just follow the form of what you are trying to depict (just as Alex/Dylan said haha). also, be mindful of the spacing of your lines; tighter spaced lines are intended for showing darker values and wider spaced lines are for more lighted areas-- though i'm sure you know all that. just use your common sense and practice it a lot. you're already applying the studies to imaginative works so you're well on your way to becoming better
i'll leave the 'steps' or w/e for my next figure practice on my thread if you're interested.
anyway dude, Happy Holidays! don't be lazy, be productive!

wow you have gotten alot better!!!
And i've seen your old old sketchbook.
fuckin props and im jealous as hell but very happy for you
keep it up!
What was the thing that helped you make that hurtle to the superb studies and well i noticed youve always had really nice lines. as in smooth and controlled and whatnot. I have a problem with jagged messy lines.
anyways...
Thanks for the post on my SB I've been lazy and bored and unmotivated...
really a second thank you for posting on my SB that was cool of you to remember my SB.
Later!

Hard to be productive during holidays! But I gotta push myself. The stuff isn't in orderThe Hsien- Ko (last drawing) I did first to test rendering straight hatching. The figures I recently just did. My hatching is clearly still bad and im not really bright on lighting but we all fall, so we can learn to stay up.
@ Josh Hahaha, I'll be careful!
@Alex Following the form >.< !
@Teapo Sure is! And thanks for posting the steps, really helped me out!
@Sporus Heeeeyyy buddyHmm the one thing thats pushing me is the dream of being a character designer. One of my favorite artist is Alex Pascenko, and im totally inspired by his work. So just the thought of being able to design characters like that (especially the sci-fi characters) really motivate me! And the deathline is something im part of
As for lines, xD im not really good with lines. Though im really pushing myself to get hot juicy lines!
good studies ven. regarding the lines-- these aren't half bad at all. compared to some just starting out drawing, you don't bear too much of the 'scratchy' look. for me, i'm a bit inconsistent in my linework-- not sure if it's just dependent on my feelings or what but i don't think you will have problems progressing into awesome lines C: but, keep going!

Great studies Ven!The hair makes me think one is about to say "KAMEHAMEHA!", haha.
whats the deathline? o.o
The studies are awesome! I like how you shade the muscles.
I recommend you do some more hand studies! Just devote a day to only hands and take a look at how they work.
The hair in the studies makes me think of dragon ball xD
Happy New Year Ven! Mhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
woah your studies are looking good![]()
I'm loving your sketching style man! They have this really dynamic feel to them. Your anatomy seems to be getting better tooKeep it up!
Happy New Year! I've been doing head studies and trying to get that freaking perspective right >.<
@zryanart hahaha I was aiming for that.
@Sporus Its a year long plan by the Daniel Warren for the Crimson Daggers
@Kuddlekins xD thanks. I agree with the hands. Never really studied anatomy other then draw my own hand.
@Magyar Happy new year
