Well, not really ) I was studying architecture for 6 years, and academic drawing for 4 years - as part of architectural education.
But I was learning anatomy and stuff by myself (with help of Gottfried Bammes books) before I went to art classes at the age of 15.
Some of my pictures from that time are still floating in the web =) for example, I have one in my old epilogue.net gallery (I would link it, but their server shut down again).
Well it served you well, your anatomy stuff is specially great, ima look into gottfried's books right now im mainly into bridgman my style is starting to adapt to his haha weird how influenced we are by the artists we study
Hi again, I'm glad CA is online and ashamed, because I don't have much to show
also, I can finally post sketches from my first gamedev work. It is different from what I usually draw, 'cause it were environment sketches for hidden-object game )
(And you already saw 'em if you read my russian blog)
So, if somebody is interested in this kind of stuff, tell me, I'll post it here
Holy cow, these are all delicious! The pencil work is phenomenal, the forms read beautifully, and the details read great and clear without overwhelming the larger forms. This is grade-A stuff, can't wait for more! Talk about inspirational!
