    Thanks for dropping by

The stuff in #70 looks awesome, would be cool to see one of them in more finished state. They work fine as they are though so might not wanna ruin it with too much detail

@Velocity Kendall: Thanks man! and yeah well, i suppose is the '' study, learn and then apply to your ''stuff'' '' kind of thing, with a little twist, but anyways i think is very fun too!

@Kvenh: sure! is something im working on, like the style that im looking for... but i have to keep practicing with it, as for finishing one of those wich i posted, actually is not a bad idea
, thanks for the comment man!

Being a bit slow with the digital stuff, because I've had an urge to practice with anatomy and study the types of environments existing on earth, but they are all in my sketchbook as notes and studies, so as i said i am gonna show you later on, when i take some photos , so:

Muy buena Gabriel ! A seguir haciendo estudios e ilustraciones, sé que a veces es complicado dibujar todos los días, además de la pereza (lazyness), pero está bueno plantearse el hecho de dibujar seguido y hacerlo, a la larga te sentís mejor. Arriba !

Excellent stuff in here, You capture the mood and color really well, one thing I am working on at the moment.

I also like how you manage to make things look right and at the same time keeping it all clean and simple.

Even though I like the simple style maybe also try adding some detail to the images, like some ruggedness to the mountains etc. to get some more information for the eye to enjoy?

    Anyway, Good job!

I'm enjoying the style you have with your strokes. The thick use of line and great, bold choices in color make your landscapes and work really stand out. As others have said, you have a great feeling for simplicity, but I would love to see a finished piece.

How's the oil painting coming along? I can't wait to get into that myself.

Wow, you have a lot of very appealing studies and pieces. I really like your brush stroke quality; it's different and unusual. Instasubscribe'd.

Also, thanks for looking into my sketchbook! You've inspired me to do more nature-oriented studies.

Looking forward to seeing more. : D

I think I might have commented about this before, but I really love your blocky painting style. It's pretty unique, and very appealing. Your landscapey stuff is looking nice, and you've got a great sense of light and some good compositions - that last one has some good things going for it, but the placement of the figures is a little awkward, with the two of them feeling pressed down by the horizion line, and the third, taller one looking like it's hanging by its neck.

Your figures are also very appealing, though a few of them have tiny heads. There are also some lopsided/misaligned features - taking a couple more minutes on some guidelines might do some good.

I'm really digging your use of brushes! It's so simple yet expressive.
Also, your enviros are really good, and so are your pencil drawings..
Keep posting! I'll keep an eye on this one (:

Hey man, these are some gorgeous environments, and your stylized characters definitely leave a lasting impression, I feel like a bunch of artists are just focused on strictly realism, which can get a little stale sometimes. Keep it up!

Hmmm, maybe make either the dragon or the ground a little darker? Or at least another colour? What bothers me most about that pic is how the knight guy is put so smack dab in the middle. But don't let that crit fool you: i think this sketchbook is one to look out for,and that's exactly what i'll be doing from now on!

If you cut an inch off the right side of the composition, the knight will line up with one of the vertical thirds and feel less centered. I think the issue with the values is that the dragon doesn't have the same sense of light as the knight does, and even the knight could use more value range in the silver surfaces. The narrative is also a bit confusing: he seems to be reaching out to pet the dragon, but he's got his sword out and aiming it off to the right - why? And this is kind of a nitpick, but if he's right-handed, the scabbard should be on his left hip so he can draw the sword more easily. It has a lot of potential though, especially for a speedy, and it'd be nice to see you take it further. I especially like the scales you've drawn out on the dragon's neck, very nice.

Your environments look great! and i love the pencil designs, very very cool
not sure if there was a fully rendered pencil sketch but I think that'd be so cool if you did that in color

for the dragon/knight image I feel like the sense of space got lost and it's been flattened, perhaps including more of a middle ground and background (castles?scenery) could help

the other thing is with your rendered people, this is just my thought but they feel a bit plastic to me but that could just be a stylistic choice xD

    keep it up
