I was looking through some old work and found this oil sketch I did a few years back. Kinda Fechin-ish... kinda.

It is certainly awesome to receive help and tips from artists like yourself, always makes me want to aspire to do more and sleep less
This is indeed a great sketchbook, I wish I had more of a way to return you a favor for your visit and your words

awesome work you got here, I really like how painterly all your works are, loose but still very detailed. can't wait to see more, keep up the great work!

Wow, great SB. That pencil one is amazing. Value study also looks very much like a photo. Feels like there's a lot of improvement even in the span of a couple pages when it already started out really well.

    Life painting

Oil - approx 2hrs. I like where this one was headed - kinda reminds me of Lipking's work.
If you are one of the few who haven't seen his paintings, you owe it to yourself to check him out: http://lipking.com/gallery.htm

    Thanks, thesadpencil, Kerah, and JFierce.

Great updates. The drawings look really good.
I'm loving the oil paintings and the use of neutrals in them as usual.

thanks for stopping by my SB! I'm always very very happy when a pro offers advice but at a loss to return the favour. I can't really crit cause you're so far ahead of me that whatever your mistakes are they look like strokes of brilliance to me.

I wish I had oils and other traditional mediums to play around with but unfortunately i'm in a city that doesn't stock such things (can't even find a decent sketchbook!) So All i can do is admire traditional work. One day though.

Love your pencils, the other things are great, but your pencil work really stands out to me.

    Hi matey

Long time no post!! where have you been? Nice to have you back mate I like the king Arthur image but I have a problem with the light source, I cant pin down where it is! It seems to be stronger from the top right hand side of the image and yet the left shoulder is lit up strongly as well.
This wouldnt be so bad but the Helm needs lighting a bit more too if there is a secondary light source on the case. if it is single source then you might want to tone the left side down a bit.

Just an observation mate its your image when all said and done, good one all in all. All the best and thanks for posting it up.
