I like the color compositions you did at the top. They've got a sense of drama and realism, which is quite different from what I used to see (studio Id type stuff. btw: have you played Rage?)

I was wondering if you'd had any finished stuff, or some longer term projects. Sketches and studies are good, but it helps to push the limit. I'd like to see what happens when you take a week or a month to take a painting to finish.

I finally got back to drawing after about a week-long dry spell. Family stuff, but I'm back into it now. Going sketching with sectr4 tomorrow.

I heard that sectr4 guy is a real jerk. On a completely unrelated note, it was cool sketching with you yesterday Matt! Let do it again like we do every damn week

I agree with Maloney Baloney over here though. You're putting up some badass studies and concepts. Some really crisp rendering. Would be way fun to see a new finished illustration/full concept of yours.

Hope everything's well on your end, man.

Whoa, loving the pencil studies! Some of the compositions could probably use a bit more work in terms of spacing and arrangement of elements, but take that with a grain of salt since I suck at it.

I think everyone feels like that at one point or another, I've felt like it a couple times in the past and there's probably another one coming. But yeah. In my experience which is basically really small, the only way to get through it is just to keep working and not getting discouraged by all the fucking amazing people out there.

But yeah, that's easier said than done.

Keep working mate, one day you'll be the best!

definitely seconding ludic, i feel like that like every other day! just keep at it and push through those moments of self-doubt, you'll always eventually find confidence with certain pieces. and then feel like shit the next day.

In my opinion, your line quality is perfect, your male anatomy is great, the females could use some work though. I don't even know what i'm writing, anyway. Update more. I wish to see mooooore, mooooooorre

Hey man, sweet avatar! Makes me feel old that I remember playing that game haha. Don't be so hard on yourself, you are doing great. I guess it's just how artists and art students work though, we're a critical bunch! Just don't let it get to the point where it holds you back and keeps you from being consistent. Put on some sweet music, get a glass of coke / beer / juice and rock on!

Lookin' good bra, quick observation is that the placement of the right eye (viewer) is often messed up, and the eyes are generally too high up.

If you want me to stop critizizing, just lemm'e know!
