Here is another concept art, still based on the Elder Scroll saga. I figured I might do a concept of all races, for practice and fun. Thanks for watching, crits are welcome!

    Awesome stuff!
You have some really good use of color.
I really like the portrait of the girl and the old man. Great use of values and rendering there.

I always thought Kahjiit were rather ugly in the Elder Scrolls series (I'm playing one in Skyrim and even there they look.. well.. yeah, at least a bit more like cats.). Your take on them is so. effing. beautiful.
I'm curious how you will portray an Argonian, as I love both of those non-human races.

    Keep it on *__*

Really liking the direction this sketchbook is going. You are starting to sell me on the zorn palette thing. I might have to give it a try.

Here is an Argonian concept, special for Marin. They sport some kind of amber known as Hist, a substance they acquire from venerated trees in their homelands, which they can mold into jewels, weapons and armor plates.

And here's one of Bosmer, a race of witty elves who dwell in thick forests.

Haha, thank you for the Argonians
They look great. I like how their "lips" look like they are always smiling. The reddish skintone is so pretty~ and it's cool you think of a background story for your designs. Really adds to it.

Here is a concept of Orc male and female, still from the Elder Scroll saga. I gave them a more rhino looking aspect, and had both male and female look the same besides their haircut, to fit their initial description as equal in strength, size and purpose among their warrior society. And here is a WiP to go with it!

    Thanks for watching.

Man! I love it. Thanks for taking the time to do the WIP .gifs... I enjoy seeing how you lay the base down. Really simple geometry but a solid base, then you take off. Great stuff! Keep it coming!

Thanks Eric, I appreciate it, I'll include more wips from now on
So here's one with Imperials, it's more classic, since in the Elder Scroll saga those guys share basically every aspect with ancient Roman society, but I can't complete this series without including them

Here is a personal take on Altmers, a proud and snobbish race whose ancient and refined traditions greatly influenced the rest of the Tamriel empire, hence their condescending attitude towards 'lesser' races.
And a Wip to go with it!

Here is the last concept of this Elder scroll series I've been doing as practice. It depicts male and female Bretons, a human race with remote elven origins, hence their slight build and delicate features.

Thanks for watching, coments are welcome!

Here is a study of a standing model. My standing characters aren't that good, so I'll do more studies like this one. Catwalk models seem to be a good way of observing standard poses and walking motions, but if you know other references, please let me know

    Thanks for watching.

Wonderful sketchbook. Its a pleasure to browse through.

Something I noticed on post #45 the ears look like they are just too far left. I think it would look better with the ears further to the right so the heads are not THAT ...round.

Here are a few studies, three of them based on catwalk models and one on Sarah Simblet's Anatomy for the Artist. Feel free to comment!
