Hey thar very nice sketchbook youve improved a lot in the short time this has been up. #40 is really great, the natural texture you created from the painting is very nice and your colours and values have very quickly gotten accurate. Like another said sometimes trouble constructing faces but I see that weeding out already and 9/10 times its good. You also have a good ratio of study:imaginative, try to keep that balanced

    Thanks both!

Some poster I did for a party. It doesn't pay much, but they are easily satisfied and its fun, pushes me into doing different things, learn other techniques. This one was a little rushed, didn't have much time, leaving for China Thursday Inspired my the Hed Kandi girls.

Quick girl doodle. Something about her face is bugging me, but I can't tell exactly what... >

Polished the last thing a bittle (which is a quite funny contradiction of a bit and a little, if you ask me :p)

Good brushstrokes. In #67 the saturation seems a bit off, perhaps the darks could be more saturated, or the temperature difference between lights and darks more clear, I'm not sure. In #68, the torso looks excellent except for the abs, where it falls apart in form, should perhaps use a reference for that. #69 looks too much like a classical portrait for such a wild subject!

    LOL @ VEGETA!

Your values seem to be coming along so nicely, your anatomy is looking a lot better too.

Slightly jealous of your linework, It's a step above my own.

    Please keep going!!!

Worked some more on this one, mostly changed the lighting. Gotta fix the abs and finish her hair a bit, then move on.

Little detailing done on the landscape and some character concept I did during class. He's an astronaut based on Buzz Lightyear and a Spanish conquistador. The monster is something he will face on the planet.
