Can't capture paper in Painter 11
I'm begging someone to PLEASE tell me what I'm doing wrong with trying to make a custom paper in Painter 11. So I open painter, paint a design on the Canvas, do the Select All command, go to the "Papers" window, and click on 'Capture Paper.' When I save the new paper I just see a white space in the papers window for the new paper, not the design I painted. I find that I can't paint on this new paper at all with any brush! It's driving me insane!! What steps am I missing???

You could have a glitch in the paper library. Reset it to default (from the paper menu flyout in the toolbar), restart and try again. You seem to be doing it correctly. Make sure that the image you're using isn't too big (like 5cmx5cm max or 600x600 px max), make sure you don't have any layers. Don't have any crossfade if you've made it a perfect tile.
How many papers do you have in the library? Painter 11 doesn't like too many or it gets buggy. Use the Paper Mover to separate them into different libraries.
