One more class project was hell´a fun to do. we had to create a block head and i did this crazy little dude. Did the whole thing fairly quickly as well only 4 or 5 hours from staring sketching to finished something that is good since i usually am a little to slow on my drawings

Wow I love your work you creatures design are fantastic ! Your brushes strokes feels really solid! Can you please tell me how do you get such effect ? Did you start from a base color/value and then add the rest ? I'm really curious because I tried different time but I never succeed ><

thanx a lot. yeah character design and creature design is kinda my thing, still need to get better though, in everything
But yeah my brush work. i pretty much start out with a base color, then slowly build up to and ad some darker values to the darkest part. you should really check out mr jack at deviant art and ld tully they are true masters of this stuff. Mr jack has a lot of progress gifs as well that stuff just makes your jaw drop. But yeah i guess the best tip i can give is to try to map out the surface of what you are drawing with your brush and slowly work you way to the highlight

So a finally a piece with color even though the colors pretty much suck:/ Wanted to draw a dude just when he dies. I think i need to be more confident when i draw or something, cuz i end up using way to much time doing stuff and then i get tired of the drawing before it really finished. I dont know maybe i just need to get better overall. And yeah in the picture you are kinda looking trough the victims eyes, who again looks at himself and the killer trough a mirror, dont really know if that shows

a caricature of david i did for figure drawing, semi happy with it, but feel like i lost some of the shapes. Its so hard for me to get lighting from a photo. Also feel like i need to do some more with it before its really done, maybe ad some cracks or something like that

So my sorta final cowboy vs indians illustration. Still need some finishing up, but are way to tired and bored of the picture to do it now. Really happy with this one though. My very first and certently most busy drawing.

Its about these two bounty hunters who are traveling in to some kind of forbidden forrest to find a legendary item that grant wishes or something like that, the further they go into the forrest the more bizarre and dangerous it gets. In this picture they are half way there but are already pretty fucked You can see one of them is badly wounded( the one with the small gun) while the other one only have one bullet left to go. it was super fun to do, an i feel like i learn some importent stuff, mostly how freaking hard it is, to make every importent element in a painting to stick out and tell a story. And yeah still need to visit this again some time and make those ting really get rendered out and be as readable is it need to ( the hat the main villain is holding, the last bullet, and the wound)

Back in action! Finished with finals, and finished with an awesome vacation with my family, now though is it back to drawing again

Trying to use some more soft brush strokes in the start, and feel like it get some results with it. Really happy how it turned out, the colors didnt really work so good in the beginning staged, but got it back on track. Still feel i my digital drawing process can get a little better, but hey still have two an a half year of collage to really get my stuff tighter

Really good art you've got here : D
I like your painting style, some of them seem give a sense of pixel art. Your use of color is phenomenal.

Really experimented with this one. I think i used to start to early with small brush size. So just had some fun with huge strokes on these guys. Real fun.

Now all i need to figure out is how to combine the smooth and quick effect you get with huge brushes and and hard detailed stuff you get with small hard brushes. I am so use to crossshading stuff with brush strokes as well, which work fine for detail, but sux for color blending, soft shading and quick work. Thinking I maybe just need to find big shapes with soft brush then go on top on that with hard brushes for details. I dunno Lets see how this work out

So this one was fun, ended up using a little to much time at nothing at the end. Really a smart thing to start with soft brushes and bigger shapes, who would have guessed right Still feel like i have the problem that i end up rendering every fun thing first and then stuck with the stuff i dont know at the end and therefor it becomes boring to work with. Guess i just have to tackle the hardest part first, and watch out not going into details to fast. Anyway here you go.

Some quick warthog armor concepts, i have been working on, in the process on drawing it now hopefully finished later today Then i have to draw the orc and orc armor and if i am not to tired of the project put the orc on his trusted warthog. Was really fun though, to draw the armor like that black and white really makes you focus on the design and options, i have a habit of just going with my first thoughts.
