Blood thirsty viking sketchbook!
So it's time to punch this laziness in the face. I used to think I was hardcore, but then I started to follow Dave Rapoza and the likes, and figured out I was a total slacker. Going to change that around!
From today, I'm studying my ass off to reach my first goal (to be announced once I reach it).
My best work so far.. jesus, I need to study HARD.

I think you have some pretty nice stuff here
-And I wish I could do anatomy as well as you! Yeah I'm at the bottom of the art-chain here :p
Your storyboard is cool! Nice to see how it's supposed to look like. I tried doing one for an intro video for a game we made as a 3rd semester project as a multimedia designer, which looks totally amateur compared to yours and lack all the direction/movement arrows. Are you doing that for a living?
Anyways, great stuff!

Trixtar: Hey, thanks for that. No I'm not a professional, I'm still at the bottom my self, haha.
Started on a new piece that will be a sort of progressive thing that I work on after I do certain studies to remember the studies, as well as get my first human painting done!

More storyboard tiles.. I have like, 80 tiles left.. so I don't even have time for studies over the next few days. But these are sort of educational by themselves I guess. Trying to get the sense of movement, and put the arrows over afterwards.. Not sure if it's helping or not though, hehe.

r_zanchetin: Thx for the comment bro. Sadly I don't think I'll be able to. It was supposed to be something we did for third year, but I've already gotten a group and we've decided on our project, and it's not this one, hehe. Still, it's good practice for how to do storyboards.
Here's the second character for the storyboard, the Wolfie..

poetry_man: thanks dude
Here's day three of my deathline. I think I need to plan a bit ahead, and focus on smaller things. This took me 2 hours and didn't really teach me a lot cuz I was stressing too much throughout the whole process.. Will come stronger back tomorrow!
And a small update on my warrior princess'ish illustration

I like how this is going! But go crazier on the shadows bro! Not enough contrast yet. And may I suggest rearranging her waistline? She is very masculine there, add some curvature on both sides and maybe bring her bellybutton to the right (it doesn't seem to be aligned at the center of her golden bra). Oh, one last thing, the shadows below her bra and the shadow on the ground aren't giving a good sense of where the light is coming from.
Hope it helps, keep it up!

r_zanchetin: Thx for the input man, really appreciate it! Tried to implement a few of your feebacks
Jamsession: It's referenced from a photo yea Do most of my studies from photos, then try to implement them some how in a painting I'm working on. Makes it stick more, cuz you're using the knowledge you obtained from imagination right afterwards.
Here are a couple of quick studies, both from photo ref. And an update on the illustration. Tried to change the scenery completely after a lot of good feedback from different sources. Definitely liking it more now! Think I got the colors and values pretty much nailed, so it's just hard core rendering from here on

Dude! Nice updates!!
I really like where you went with the warrior girl! (can't wait till you sharpen those edges! ;])
She actually kinda reminds me of a combination between Nidalee and Leona from League of Legends... haha!
The rock and the portrait look really good too!

Hey! You finished it. I like it! For some reason your style reminds me of my own, heh. May I add some crits though? It's just the guy on the background, he's a bit bland. You should try and add different hues when you're doing lights, it pops! I can try and tweak it a bit to show it if you want to.
