eclip-se: Yeah, bammes rocks, thank you my friend.

DaevidK: STU in Bratislava, you know. I need to risk it, this uni is maybe difficult because they accept a lot of students and then during first term they want to get rid off half of them at least. I can try it, hope it isn't so bad. If you have more info about this stuff let me know. And what did you study when you went out of there?

Tiež som si dal prihášku na design, keby sa tam nedostanem cez architektúru. Ale modelovanie z hliny mi moc nejde takže mám väčšie čance dostať sa tam cez architektúru, no uvidím. Snáď to vyjde

    LtPlissken: thanks mate.

Kvetch: Thanks, some of them are after Bammes and the rest is after photos. You can download them from this site:
    http://www.cgbrush.org/p/downloads.html

Gpozzo: yesss this applies for me too, thank you.

Finally I know date of my entrance exams. It's 7-8 january. Not very good dates I think, I am probably one of those people who are first. I also try out some still lifes and blind contours, but I don't want to show you it, maybe later. Soooo here is something new.

Loomis always saves my ass. I haven't finished his book lately, so....yeah once again.

    Great update :o

I'm going through that Hogarth book at the moment too. Hell of a lot of buttocks to draw. Those trucks look great! Really solid. The first profile (top left) on the last image looks good too.

sry I didn't write earlier...so, how do you feel about the entry exams? yeah, they get rid of a lot of students, some students leave themselves because they can't handle the pressure etc...the studying itself isn't that hard, at least it wasn't for me, but everything was soooo time consuming...and since I knew from the beginning I didn't want to be an architect, I realised that spending there 6 years to be ing. arch. was a complete waste of time for me...this year I wanted to try VSVU, but...na poslednu chvilu som si to rozmyslel a teraz neviem, bud skusim estetiku, alebo si dam vytvarnu na pedagogickej alebo whatever, nejak to extra neriesim...inak design som skusal tiez, nevzali ma drzim palce, gl

Kvetch: I am sorry, I am lazy ass. Thanks for support. I still don't know where are you from, could you say me it?

eclip-se: Pravdupovediac neviem, komisia zasadne 25.2. No neviem asi sa nezmestim do tej 250, nepodal som dobrý výkon. Diky.

    Yemi775: Thank you very much.

DaevidK: heh I don't know, I don't think I will get there. Inak o VSVU plati to co som pisal vyssie pre eclip-se. Diky, tiez ti drzim palce aby si sa spravne rozhodol.
    -----------------

    Sooo, here is update:

    - Firts page is refless
Damn, where are knights, helmets, drivers? I totally love this things and I still don't know how to draw them, must to study it and need to strengthen my imaginary side.
I also have some pencil studies, but I don't think you are interested in them, This SB is full of studies and without personal art

and I am afraid that my updates can get worse, I am taking pretty important exams in following month, so drawing won't be so important. I'll do my best.

    About bloody time :o

Nice update man, the portrait is amazing. The photostudies are nice too, it's hard to believe the first one is digital, I had to zoom in to check

Sorry to hear you've got exams, good luck with that. And I'm from the UK, that's why my English is so bad D:

looking good! Just keep on drawing. as much as humanly possible. if you like it enough, and want to improve enough. you can work around exams as well.. I.E. spend less time eating, or sleep less or any other little way that you can squeeze in any extra time possible. all of that time adds up! I agree with wes on the perspective books. perspective is very important!

Kvetch: haha thanks man, your English is much better than mine
Yemi775: OK, I'll check it out, thanks, it was actually fish eye attempt
Jarrad: Totally agree, but I think sometimes I am not very motivated and I have kinda problem with discipline, but now I am really motivated, because we started one thread on czechoslovak forum and we have to update daily, so it's a real challenge for me.
Joe777k7: Thank you, It took me thousand years to come here and update my SB

fast and good results will come with a lot of practice, don't worry if painting something takes half a day...just don't rush things.

Nice portraits with 100% opacity brush they're very rough, but accurate.
its a good way to improve your painting faster than using texture brushes which hides your mistakes.

also good studies and improvement throughout your sketchbook

Great studies especially the anatomy ones. Keep on trucking... Wait, I think you just did some awesome ones.

I didn't think it was possible to be called an artist when you have nothing to say. It's like being a writer who publishes individual words as books and expects to be praised for it.

You’re dedication to art is no joke for sure, it’s visible that you are a hard
worker, you were great before, but today you are even better, you have
the magic technique to sway it as no one else can. The face drawings and
some of the anatomy sketches are looking great, improvement and
fascinating results on the horizon. Looking at those greyscale face
paintings, one could tell that your values got better and your
proportions are also up there. You should stay motivated just
as before and you should keep on going with your glory like
successful reflection. Don’t let the flags of fortune
touch the grounds of the chambers of torture.

Where have you been all this time, we missed you so much.
I think that you are doing good with colors, and this blocky style
of painting makes your pieces look more interesting. As for an advice,
try to go with some of your paintings into more details, consider thinking
about where the hard and soft edges should be. Also don’t forget about
mixing in some grey-scale studies from time to time, after all those
are the best things to get down the values right.
Wish you all the best for this Christmas.

LtPlissken: you know I am studying architecture right now and we had some projects that needed to be done, I rarely went to sleep before midnight and yeah, but these are only stupid excuses because to be honest I had time but somehow I wasted it, I travel 2,5h to boarding school and only things I do in train are sleeping or watching things from window, I should have drawn something instead, and yeah I listened Sycra past 2 days on his youtube channel during drawing and I learnt so much. Important thing is that I have to draw daily to gain knowledge otherwise I forgot everything.
Thank you so much for your comment. I definitely have this soft and hard edge thing on my list, there are so many things to study, I think I should strengthen my pencils mainly figure. I guess those figures I had posted some time ago was wasted time, because I hadn't applied knowledge, need to start again and this time combine imaginative work with studies.
I wish you all the best too, thanks for coming to my thread.

Here are some skulls I did for anatomy group we had on Czechoslovakian forum, those red ones and those marked I are from Imagination, the rest is after reference. And also I posted some pages from sketchbook , they are quite old and too shitty, the newest page is month old there are some drawing after ref too. Those 2 colored pictures are from mind, the task was to draw something from mind using chosen Peleng's palette.

Sufficient sleeping time is crucial for your mind and your soul, you should never
forget about that. Your creativity will be based on your resting rate and studying architecture
is surely no joke, so you should focus hard and strong. Don’t burden yourself for not drawing
while you were traveling, cause if you don’t feel up to drawing, then you don’t draw, simple
as that. I was listening Sicra’s interviews also, it’s a real shame that he abandoned the soccer
representation so early in his youth, he is a good team coach now, but nothing similar what
he could have become if he would have stayed in Brazil. You have some very great skull
drawings in this last update and your head shape understanding is getting better, you
just keep up with the great work.
