Mixing Acrylic Paint with Enamel Paint

I acquired all of these free paint from someone on Craigslist, in hopes that some of it was enamel and oil based paint. But then I realized there might be different "types" of enamels, oils, and acrylics. I don't think I actually got any oil pain in this batch of free paint...otherwise, I'd just test them myself. So, I am seeking your guidance CA.org! Help me determine if any of these enamel paints will see similar results to what is seen in these youtube videos:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=unTrM_KpcoU
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WAROWcmZgkU

All of these artists seem to be mixing enamel and oil paints together to get that separative/phobic effect.

    Thanks for any help!!!

Utility paint. Why would you use something like that for art?

I shared your same sentiment when I was first thinking about this...but, then I realized Jackson Pollack created the majority of his work using this type of paint; he did it out of necessity (cheaper, more easily had upon).

On the other hand his work looks like this unless the "a" in Pollock was not a typo?

Come on....lets not turn this into a subjective critique thread. I was just posing some simple questions about the chemistry behind some different types of paints.

I'm not trying to do high quality oil painting with this utility paint. I'm just looking to create some interesting/abstract stuff, similar to what those videos are showing.
