    damn, should've checked on chow earlier...bit outta the loop, admittedly.
    does the character front-back HAVE to be included, or do wips suffice?
    not sure i'll be able to finish on time, but damn if i ain't atleast gonna get a sketch in.
    vampire, obviously. i've always liked that slight sex angle related to vampirism, so as a vampire i'd probably be all up in that fetish scene.
    edit: quick lighting block-in.

    HAT STATUS: Thrown into ring

    @Gadbury
    Alright, you must tell me what program you use. Soooo excellent. That being said I'm enjoying the rockabilly werewolf thing you got going on.

    @Amyersco
    I really like the concept, it gave me a good laugh I wonder how you'll develop the rest of the scene to tell the story?

    @Dr_Mortherplaguer
    Maybe a NSFW warning at the top of your post would be more appropriate. That being said I really like it, its a strong first effort. If I may be so bold there is a great tutorial on hair rendering you should check out. http://www.elfwood.com/farp/theart/g...eyenihair.html

    So here's where I'm at. Going with the vampires here, but none of that sissy Twilight malarkey. Vampires are MONSTERS. So here's me as a warrior vampire chopping off a werewolf's head. Bleeeeeeh!

    The word ‘anarchy’ comes from the ancient Greek αναρχία in which αν meant ‘without’ and αρχία meant first a military ‘leader’ and then ‘ruler’. Anarchist society is one ‘without rulers’: a classless, non-hierarchical society.

    Dogboys all the way!

    Sure as a vampire you get the chicks, but as a werewolf you get built without having to hit the gym and throw the weights around! Take a stroll in the moonlight and BAM, Ronnie Coleman eat ya heart out!

    This is my first CHOW and also first self portrait, really tough getting the likeness...tried a gloomy and dark mood, obviously, and I am trying to get the feel as though it was a painted portrait

    anyway here is vampire me, don't worry it wont be the make-up and pointy teeth vampire, there will be more to come

    So yeah I was not going to enter this but then I sketched this:

    and this

    Then this (with some clothing inspiration, must implement some of that :V )

    One of the pose sketches... (the others are even messier) I figured she must like blood ice. :3

    bit of progress, not quite sure about the contrast yet.
    still haven't got an answer if wips suffice or if i need to make those front and back view sketches.
    edit: btw, i'm working most of it from memory, so if anybody's got any tips for that leather, i'll be grateful.

    Carnifex - Leather tends to have lighter highlights if its a shiny leather, and a kind of 'tighter' highlight (than skin etc). By working from memory, you mean trying not to use reference at all?

    FlakoFigZ - Or fat, in my case, haha

    everyone's work is looking really cool. Can't wait to see in the finished pieces from all.
    Carnifex: Super well done so far man. Very disturbing... which means the effect is working. Awesome. I love the pose. The costume is very interesting, and the lighting is really cool too.

    Hei guys here's my entry. The big vampire has nothin to do with me but I'll be the minion(based on a pic from when I was a kid..) Let me know if it still counts. I'll post the final anyway if I finish in time. Cheers

    Had some time earlier today and this is what I came up with... still need to cloth myself. The environment is still up in the air, can't decide between an alleyway or a park.
