    >FleshMarket: Thank you.

    >Pavel Sokov: I'm glad you enjoy it.

    >Juniversal: Thanks a lot

    >juliuslim: hehe, thanks.

    >Murr: Have to practice everything really. Only the nude figure would be problematic in grand compositions later on.

    >elyo11: Thanks

Anyway, here's a new batch of recent work, hope you people enjoy it.
I'm currently looking through my old hard drive to see if I can dig up anything.

    Enjoy:

This is all fantastic! There's something that I just love about pieces with a finished area that just fade off into the groundwork and then nothing.

I feel like archaeologist could have plucked these from the ruins an old master studio. Very beautiful studies.

    Were do you study btw?

Wow. Freak. In a good way of course!!

The first pic with the drapery is just insane...

My only crit would be that the hands in post #9 don't seem to carry the same authenticity and feel as the hands you done in your opening post. My guess would be that you done the drawings in your first post sometime later after the ones you posted more recently, hence the "improvement". Just a guess though.

Still freakishly brilliant have to say.

Hey guys, found some work on a usb stick from the previous year, so don't judge me on them too harshly

    Cory Hinman: Thank you kindly.

Arnaldo Rivera: I will, no worries.

    AquilaAscendent: I try to please

Immortal Cintiq: Hehe, wouldn't say old master, those guys were insanely good. And I'm studying at the russian art academy in Russia at the moment, very intensive, very demanding but also a very rewarding education.

seungy: Hehe, I'll take that in a good way, and can't be 100% sure about dates, but yeah, always progressing I suppose.

oma: thank you, but I think a Michelangelo mastercopy will teach you much more than my humble work.

Sidharth Chaturvedi: I'm one month into my second year at the moment, working at least 14 hours a day now, it's intense to say the least.

    IDP: thank you.

    esra_art: I promise I'll keep posting.

Damn, your drapery is great. Your portraits are nice too. I'd like to see some full figures, and i bet your imaginational pieces are off the charts. Keep posting, man, you're an inspiration.

    Flanagan> Thanks a lot man

Ccs> Thank you, we usually do the skeletal studies next to the portraits we draw, that way we can relate the bones to the faces.

    NiyanaMae> Glad you enjoy it

Ok, folks, I was a bit unhappy with the quality of the previous material, so I spent some time trying to improve the quality for your viewing pleasure, do enjoy and let me know what you think.

This, by the way is -everything- I found from the previous year alongside a few pieces from this year. After this, only new pieces in the coming weeks.

Hey guys, had to retake my photographs a few times, hence why the update is a bit late.

Nyoron> I'm glad to have inspired you

Pavel Sokov> Thank you very much, very nice work yourself too.

extremeillustrator > Yeah I like it very much myself

Anyway, here's the last batch, more will be uploaded later. Enjoy.

    Thank you haljarrett

Anyway, another update for all you folks out there, the third portrait is a work in progress though, so keep that in mind. I'll make sure to post the finished version as well later on.
Also, people keep asking if I'd recommend the school to others and I have to say, I don't think I can be fully objective here. I like it a lot and feel that it's offering me everything I need in an art education, but that might be different for other people. So if you are genuinely interested in checking out the school for yourself, the way stuff is being taught, they're having workshops in the month of January on constructive drawing and anatomy. If you're interested, just ask Olga the secretary for more info at info@artac.org.
    Hope you enjoy the work
