    Saudade's sketchbook

Hello there, folks. I'm Lucas, I'm a student that started to draw about a year and half ago. I'm 18 right now and my plans are to became a good artist, but i'm interested especially in mastering painting right after i get good at drawing.
I'm brazilian, so I hope you guys to be patient with my english (and my bad doodles)
I will start posting some studies. And don't forget to criticize!

Your English is great, and I look forward to seeing more from you. I am also a beginner so I cannot offer much critique, but keep it up and you will surely improve.
My Sketchbook would benefit from your critiques.

I really like those figure drawings from post #3, especially, the shading.
Were those drawings done in charcoal?

wasabi89: Thank you! Nice to see another brazilian around here.

Guardian G.I.: The second and third drawings were shaded with charcoal. The rest is all made with conte.

The drawings from imagination, as I said in the last post.
These drawing are a bit old because I've been concentrated in drawing from observation in the last months.
