    Photoshop Brushes Question

    Hello,

I am fairly new to digital art. I have worked with traditional media for a while though.

I am aware the two leading software packeges, PS and Paintor. I am already familiar with PS so I have invested some time already in learning how to "paint" with it.

I have been using exclusivly round brushes with different modifications like pressure sensitivity etc. I was wondering what is the norm, for brushes, when using PS. Note: I realize that there is no "one" way about it, but in general.

Are there any commonly used brush sets out there for PS? I would like to experiment with different brushes but I am not sure what brushes are legit and what are just crappy internet trash.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: After looking on the internet for awhile I mean to specify what kind of brushes. I don't mean the brushes that make collages all over the place and place random images. I mean brushes that imitate real life media or something along those lines.

    thanks.
