Nirvana- Heart-shaped box (very cool video as well)
    Pearl Jam- Black
Alice in Chains- Bleed the Freak
    Pink Floyd- Comfortably Numb
    Cold- Wasted years

I just have to mention this real quick; I just started to listen to the band Cold and I must say that they are quickly climbing the ranks in my book. They have three great albums. "Year of the Spider" is my favorate and I recomend to any self-respecting grunge/metal fan to give it a listen.

I was always wary of hardcore bands, but recently someone at school played a cd from a band called "full circle" or something like that. It was actually quite good. People from Tool etc are in it. I never gave Tool a chance unfortunately and think I will look into getting some of that music.

The other day at work, I thought back to this thread for some reason and suddenly "A Perfect Circle" popped into my head. I then blushed in embarassment. Yes, I seemed to have slipped the real name at the time =P

My memory is practically non-existent, I remember songs when I hear them again. But for now my favorite songs are...

    Nirvana - Heart Shaped Box
    Slipknot - Duality
    Nas - One Mic
Dilated Peoples/Kanye West - This Way
and Korn - Make Me Bad

I gotta hit submit now before I remember more songs and feel the need to alter me list.

Edit: I couldn't resist... I have to add that I like the songs from FF7 (One Winged Angel, Chasing the Black Caped Man, Vincent's Theme, I'm a really gaming geek) the theme for Halo, Yellowcard - Ocean Avenue... okay.. I'm stopping. Lots of these songs, I like em more than I normally would because I can play em on piano or guitar, don't ask me why.
