i'm alin. i'm drawing for quite a while now: pencils, charcoal and recently i tried pastels and oils in which i found new ways of expressing life, imaginary through various colors.
i think that one way to gain more awareness about my work flow is to show my drawings to others and get some opinions about it.
so here are some of them:
anatomy studies from bammes.
some drawing in pastels and one oil from this year.
critics are welcome.
these are my latest works made and from now one i'm trying to find some composition as well.
critics are welcome of course.
i decided to paint the same subject as one of the pastels from previous thread in oils and to change here and there the details with something more imaginative motifs.
a few drawings done lately...

few imaginative interpretations starting from life motifs...no color for today, maybe tomorrow.
The drawings in post from Jan 28th are a bit of a break through very nice, pushing the values better. I like the colored one most. One thing about it you changed up your technique on her thighs it seems a little out of place or not finished, what do you think.
hmm...i was treating these areas a little bit different, with spots more than hatch mainly because i want some areas of the body to come forward and also not to have the same texture all over the drawing and i repeated them here and there...maybe for the front leg i should apply more hatch...that's an idea. thanks for the comment
Some recent works: one graphic using a roller and white pastel, a landscape using brown pastel, a female nude worked in white pastel on a black paper and an oil copy from Rembrandt.
