Where in London can i get these?

anybody know where i can buy a sketchbook like this in london? The only ones I can find are thick hardbound sketchbooks with thick white paper in them. this looks a bit lighter and easier to use. especially with the small ringbinder and the beige paper is cool too.

Where in London can i get these?

Dude - i wish I knew. I'm after summink like that myself, but all I found were hardback, ring bound sketchbooks, with bright white paper.

I'm thinking of making a sketchbook, with coloured paper, bound by whatever means poss... there must be some printers in London who can ring bind? I'll check it out for you...

I'd say try the usual, Paperchase in Goodge Street; Atlantic Plumbers Row Wapping or London Graphic Centre Covent Gdn; Theres an art shop opposite the british Museum, unfortunatley, I dunno what it's called...

i have a daler~rowney A3 sketchbook with pastel paper in 3 different colours (off white, yellowy white and brownish white) and its great for my super light pencil preference (2h and 6h) and the rings are very small. (maybe 1.5 cm in diamiter)

so look out for it, i know you can get A4 too. if the worst comes to the worst, i could gpo grab a few from my (very excelent) little art shop and send them to you both. just a thought

    good luck

[edit] woops, just realised that it still has a hard back cover. just one on the back end. its very thin (exactley 1mm thin!) so its not bad. but if you want even thinner, i'll have a look this weekend when i go do my art materiels shop ^-^

WillDrawForFood, are you sure that this is a real sketchbook? It looks more like a standard notepad with handcoloured paper (eg. watercolor) to me.

cartoonfox: nice one. i'm going to have a hunt round london this weekend, so i'll let you know how it goes.

jester: i really have no idea. it's got C3 on it so it's a bit bigger than A4 (i think!).

Online you can find some here. It's not the same book, but it does have the colored pages. I think this is what you're looking for.
