    1st part

I think I may have a slight tinge of Anime in my drawings... I'm trying to get rid of that but not sure how to go about it....

I'm currently taking figure drawing classes

The first one is charcoal, the other ones are pencil and the last one is done with oils

Great Stuff! Your last animal study is very impressive... I really like the style of this! What materials did you use for this?

    Komodo Turtle Design

a couple of animal designs I did a couple months back. Now that I look at it I see loads of mistakes and I'm not that great at designing things. but that takes practice too right?

Your pen studies I like a lot, they have very good lines and your off to a great start with your figure study being your first post. I would suggest to keep moving in that direction, creating lots of studies. It would be nice to see you post a male study as well. I learned female anatomy first but as I look back I think learning male anatomy is a better way to move into female anatomy and get a general feel for constructing the human form. keep it up the great work. :-)

Never apologize for 'sketch dumping'. Just keep 'em coming as often as you can

Try doing more gesture study... perhaps www.posemaniacs.com will help loads.

As well as poking around on www.hel-looks.com for some clothed figures.

    Ultimately, just MORE MORE MORE

Keep them coming and I'll crit as I see them.

You seem to be much more comfortable traditionally then digital. That's ok though it all comes with practice...you really have some skill though soooooo
    keep going!

I figured if I got better at traditional I wouldn't have much of a problem while doing digital, at least that's what a lot of people keep telling me. especially for the portfolio? I will keep drawing! Thank you!

    old and recent

For the first photoshop painting, I painted the head last summer, then I stopped there because I didn't have the courage or skill to do the body. Then this summer I started on the body because I thought I could, then I realized quickly that I need more practice drawing bodies. So I might finish that piece later when I have more experience and confidence to do it.

the last two are of course animal sketches lol... the giraffe was like an inside joke with a friend.

Your drawings of animals are.. beautiful. -tears-

I don't really have much to say, your artwork is fantastic! But I agree that your observational artwork is very stylized. Hard habit to get rid of but I'd say it's all in the way you draw eyes, and which features you emphasize more. Nothing wrong with it, though!

    Keep up the good work!
