Teen Challenge 135: Scarecrow
This week's topic is Scarecrow. I want you to create a piece with a scarecrow.
Yes, there has to be an actual scarecrow.
So you can't go too whoopsy doopsy on this one.
You can, however, choose the setting, design, theme etc yourself.
Evil scarecrow, cute scarecrow, medieval scarecrow, sci-fi scarecrow.
Knock yourself out.
This weeks focus is composition, I want an aesthetically pleasing picture. (That means good-looking)
So make sure you compose it just right.
The deadline is Sunday 25th of September, 23:59 GMT
Sounds like this could be an interesting one!
here's the little story I came up with for mine: once upon a time there was a farmer who learned how to use magic. he was sick of crows always eating from his field, so he enchanted his field to make it sprout crow-eating-wheat. the first scarecrow was invented by crows to warn their brothers about the dangers of the field.
the illustration's going to be a group of crows on a suicide mission to plant the scarecrow. I'm still working on thumbnails right now.
Hey! So, here are some designs to get me started... i'll try to make some thumbs later...
I thought about a distant reality in space, where humans living in Saturn would use scarecrows with fire to scare the aliens off. Something to do with religion, rituals...
Hello all! New to the forums and I think this is a good place to start posting. ^^
I'm thinking of some kinda automated robot scarecrow for this one.
great topic! I'm going to get on to this right away
Okay, still doesn't look like a scarecrow XD I'll fix that later, I guess

WIP, May or may not be finished... It depends on whether I finish this stupid human biology report before Sunday...
Heres what I'm up to!
hoping to get it done before the deadline
Good job dudes and dudettes! Now push it to the max!
Finals thread up.
Woah, all that in just one day Ffanatic? Great work, it looks really good. Remember you need to show two work in progress shots though! Also you need to put a border around the picture. Just look at past TC entries for examples.
Okay here's my last WIP, I just need to color it now.
