Aragah yeah my proportions suck. well I'll get it one day some day rahrahrah D:
hmm I am up late tonight o_o it's 2AM here.
well I think I just felt like I didn't get enough done today because of work, it always feels that way haha.
unfff i can't wait to get some storyboards going, but I still need to practice more from imagination and get faster >: i'm so sloooooww.
there are so many ideas i want to execute...but so little skill still ;_; what the hell. having Obata's art (Bakuman hahah) beside my bed is a constant reminder how far I have to go... holy shit. enough complaining though I NEED 2 SLEEPZ
hahaha look how out of proportion it is!! awesome. but the second page is from imagination. Attachment 1415192
I don't really have something to say...
Maybe a "keep on rocking" even though I wanted to say something more D:
Your sketchbook has motivated me. I mean, your colours and studies... ugh just... awesome!
I won't even say about the way you put your thoughts into paper... they are just simple yet so well executed that seems something complicated, something with a story behind it.
I can feel there's something behind it and is not just a murder...
I'll be watching you for now on... and not... in a creepy way C:
great to see you pushing it! HA! i love bakuman too! its pretty insppirational too i think(even tho the "getting into drawing for the girl" doesnt really get to me)
alright. again, you are doing great in colors! and using some textures.
wtf you learn so fast! ah, im jealous!
hah just (again) keep an eye for proportions. my recomendation would be to draw hands, from life. a ton of them.
and one thing on the last portrait, i feel like theres a too strong line between the light and the dark on her nose, maybe soften it a little?
your rocking! please keep at it!
and thanks a ton for those comments on my sb.
Aragah bakuman is the best *__* And no problem, I'm happy to see you working hard too. It keeps me inspired.
Cyprinus Ouahh far from great. But thanks for stopping by! :'D
Ainuwolf Whoaa thank you ;_; Wow you gave me too much credit here haha... I feel like I can't accept it cause I'm 0.0005% of the way there probably. but I'm really happy I can inspire you...because you and everyone here inspire me in return!! so THANKYOU < 3
erm so today.
I read lots of manga after I finished piano teaching....haha.
Oh, and I read through Scott Mccloud's book, "the art of making comics"..again. haha. I think i'll get his other book too.......
today I discovered the usefulness of a repetitive timer. haha i'm stupid for not using it before
Jarrad: Oh thank you! Keep drawing/painting lots! I hope you had fun painting outside too! SFU lifedraw...haha they always have it when I'm working. i'm probably going to the lifedraw around where we live tomorrow (erm..forget what it's called..suite E?) with my (mom's friend... she invited me...lolol).
Tyrant Monkey: Thanks so much. I really hope so..it's my dream, actually, a part my childhood dream that I was too stupid to not chase after i graduated. lolll /islame
Aragah: LOL I'm caught up on Bakuman (er, 165?). I think I know what cliff you are talking about. AHHH *____* SO GOOD WHAT THE HELL!? Man do you ever wonder how Obata could go from Death Note art to Bakuman's current style? Don't they feel a bit like different artists?! He's amazing and his female characters are SO much better this time. ah obata....;_; i will catch up to your greatness someday...
Your studies are coming along great! But ahhh omg, I know the feeling when you think that nothing really sinks in ): I guess there are just days like that!
My favs are the fold study & the last 15min life screencap from Tree of Life, really like the last pic from imagination too (:
