Hey there and welcome Nice pieces you have here I especially like the grayscale water creature picture. I would really love to see you do some pencil drawings from life eg. still life, landscape and people. Do observational studies and draw what is hard for you to draw. All the best of luck and keep up the good work!

Those gestures are nice, some good movement going on. It might benefit you to try a few where one or two whole lines to get the major motion of the pose rather than breaking the lines up. Your imagination stuff is pretty good just keep working on anatomy and I'll mention you read the loomis books as some one is bound to, but read other books as well. Good luck!

Great sketches so far, the only thing I would suggest you, is to observe and study lightning, because alot of your drawings, you have highlights zone that should be in the shadow and vice versa.. here's a clear quick example..

more gesture drawings... I tried to complete the action with just a few lines but i get carried away some times and end up doing contours, so i have to try and get rid of that bad habit, any critics are welcome

    Welcome to CA.

You've got some good studies going on. Just keep drawing like this. That is all. I would recommend some structured/planned studies too, to tackle out some problems.

Thanks for dropping by my SB. Keep drawing

Muy buenos estudios de gestos y poses, no se si conoces a Glen Vilppu un gran artista, muy bueno en lo relacionado a eso y tambien como dice fenixx podes ver algunos trabajos de estudios de planos y estructura que hace el.

Thanks a lot for the advices ill show you some studies as fast as i can ^^.

For now, some horses... the more structured ones are from imagination and the more sketchy ones are 30 second drawings from photos

Nice movement on the horses. There are a few problems with the anatomy but I am by no means an expert so feel free to ignore me on that. Also if your in need of a book on animal drawing Joe Weatherly has a great book on it. It's more about general principles and construction than really in depth anatomy so if that's what your looking for, Elliot Goldfingers book would probably be better. Anyway, sorry for the book suggestions if you weren't looking for them and I hope you'll keep drawing.

Charmer: oh the first one D; you gonna make me cry... lol... Ill work on my studies more often and thanks for the support and motivation
KT: thank you very much for the advice and the books these were 30 second drawings so i tried to get line of action and overall movement, i havnt started with anatomy so the ones from imagination are only structure studies, but ill look for the books to know the muscles when i get there ^^. Thank you very much again

PD: did you guys found the smoking horse??? XDXD

Wouhou! great horse sketches! and really nice digital portrait..

Concerning the feedbacks, you should probably make your shadow darker, mostly on the neck under the jaw and on the left side of her face; because right now: we can't really tell where the light comes from.

The are around her eyes needs some rework to

But it's a really great start already!

    New studies

Mr. Goblin: Thanks for the feedback ^^, ill gove some darker values but i didnt wanted to give it lower values because it made her look kinda old and it wouldnt be good for my relationship to do that XDXD

Im reading Michael Hampton's design and invention, the Netter Atlas and Force dynamic at the same time... Im gonna try to combine the things i learn from the three of them on to all my studies. Ill try also to start using my waccom to do gesture and practice my lines... any critics are very welcome and really necesary...

    Hybrid

Im trying new and different aproaches for drawing gesture form the books im reading, i cant seem to merge the two styles together so i can capture form in a dynamic way, something that looks kinda organic, but ill keep trying... Im also doing some exercises to improve my line and to understand some concepts of form in space... Also testing some brushes so i can do gesture with the line i want and finaly achieved it in the second page(first one sucks XD). Critics are always welcome ^^

    Horses and gesture

I went to the racecourse yesterday with my classmates and got to draw horses in one of the stables, so we were like 3 steps away from all of them and i got to study the structure first hand and it was amaaaazing!!!! I will post only a few sketches because i have too many of them lol...
I also tried to copy some of the dynamic gestures i found in the "Michael Hampton figure drawing" book but not for the sake of copying, but to understand his approach and the way he builds and what to build and when to build this dynamic and yet really structural gesture sketches... as always any critics are really appreciated ^^

I noticed many of your digital paintings end up looking very diffused(for the lack of better term ) I suggest you try using a hard edge brush.. even on your digital gestures.

Your horse gesture drawings.. and even the others are looking real good. Keep up the studies man !!!

fenixx: Thanks for the feedback, i really diffuse them at the end(have to stop doing that ) but its because theres a lot i dont know yet about form and anatomy... Ill try and do more research about my weak points so i can do better next time.... Thanks again

the following are the sketch and the painted version of what i thought from the song MONSTER from SKILLET... Im kinda obsessed about the song so i had to do something to get it out of my head a bit lol...
