Thanks for dropping by man!
Solid work on those anatomy studies, I really should do more of those myself. Try to get some different kind of lines in there using harder/softer/thicker/thinner strokes to describe shapes a bit better. At the moment all of the lines have the same kind of feeling and in the end can make a form look quite flat.

Great studies and I can actually see how you use what you learn in each of your paintings - inspiring.

So many great sketches in such a short while! Great lines and style of sketching, love the look of this sketch especially! Anatomy studies look clean and correct but remember to try draw them from memory too. There's always the danger of not thinking about forms when copying lines with good routine. On many of your work from imagination, I really like the energy and dynamic poses like on this one, this one, and the Payload comic. Also, great brushing on the blue ogre in the last pic!
Seems like you're studying like crazy on the most important things so keep up the great work!

Wicked good sketch book so far DL! If I can produce something like you can in two years or so I'd be super chuffed! I can see I'll have to put a great deal of work in as you so obviously have.
Well done! Something to aspire to

haha! I haven't played gauntlet since it looked like this:
Just keep exploring lines in general, and you'll find a happy place
The previous page also has some really super Bridgman studies- the subtle accents of shading with the thick lines work quite well there.

Hey, some of your studies look really great.
On your digital pieces from imagination, however, you are relying too much on pure local colours. That is, the colours a surface would have in a transparent lighting condition. Just remember that colours react with other colours around them, and that includes the atmosphere. It's the coming together and interaction of colours which makes a work look authentic and believable.
Overall, your work is definitely improving. Keep updating.

Oh hey Dustin! Fancy seeing you here.
I like your recent work a lot, really. I wish you'd post iterations so I could pick 'em apart.
Your latest stuff has really seemed to get refined, as far as style is concerned. I really enjoy it.
