The sketches were from photos and were 2 minutes each.

hey man your doing great, keep it up with the studies, its the fastest way to improve. The latest enviro is great, you kept a cold palette and it works very well with the shapes, we can feel the cold ! You will improve fast at this rate, keep in mind that you will reach your goals, its just a matter of time and hardwork. No specific crits, just give all you got to each of your drawing ;P
    cheers

It was supposed to be a study of a misty forest but I couldn't really figure out how to get all the detail in there.

amazing job man! you have been improving a lot! I think you got a real good grasp on your environments. Your figure studies are also getting a lot better. Next step up I would suggest is try to get some figure studies in color. keep it up!

Thank you all for the encouragement, I really appreciate it

I just wanted to show you guys some cool stuff I got in the mail today. I got one of those 18 inch tall Spiderman figures which have 67 points of articulation (I think), I figured it'd be fun to mess around with and find cool poses, even if his proportions are that of a superhero :p

The other thing I got is a polystyrene head which is meant for putting wigs/hats on but I'm gonna shine lights on it and use it as reference for when drawing people in perspective etc.

These first 2 studies are of the Spidey figure, after that I tried to do more but my anatomy knowledge isn't good enough to "fix" the inconsistencies in the figure so they looked terrible (so I won't bother uploading them)... I did the studies of the guy with the gun to punish myself for sucking.

I'd like some crits on this so I'll post it in the crit section too, I was a bit unsure about the lighting and some of the anatomy (how to paint the ass next to a leg from that perspective). Also, I don't know shit about colour.
