    Dark's Sketchbook

I've always been discouraged from posting here, thought I was not good enough.
Browsing through the art here confirms that.
So my stuff won't be much to look at or up to par, but I wish to improve so here I go.
Mostly been doing studies, so that's all I really have. Would really appreciate what you all have to say.

Don't discourage yourself, you're already very good. Keep going and in no time you'll be really amazing.

these portraits are great man, one thing i'd suggest is to spend more time on them next time you start a piece, so you can add that extra detail and finished look, it gives a satisfying feeling

Oh, man... "not good enough" you say? Than a half of arists from these forum shoud go and give themselves a headshot right now *O*

You're so good at showing textures in painting! I absolutely adore your armor studies. Do you have a special bookmark in your browser for a website with those or you just use google for references?
And I like to see historical theme in your drawings, especially yourselfportrait is... well... very interesting Keep up your great work and don't you dare to neglect art!

    Thank you, and yes Photoshop.

As for the references, I save pictures I really like during my internet travels.
I've made an "Arms & Armor" folder for these recent ones.

Hah, you trying to say somethin' about my self-portrait?

Really solid studies, particularly the armour - great chrome effects. I think the fallen soldier is really strong, looks proper defeated. Post more.

Simple figure study, and attempt to utilize what I've been learning for fun, by showing my dislike of the designs featured in SWTOR.
Bit disappointed in myself, not as good as I should be able to do, so back to the studies with me.

Any advice or pointing out of things I'm doing wrong would be fantastic.
