Hi everyone. i hope to improve my drawing skill and be a consistent and conscientious artist and perhaps be able to specialise in an area. I hope that whoever comes across this thread would give me their critics and advise and/or perhaps even be kind enough to point me to relevant resources online that might aid me to improve. Thank you for viewing. I hope i'll be able to do the same for you.

Well, thks for the encouragement. my faults tend to show when i flesh out the figures and add clothes, expressions n accessories. i hope to do more figure drawings especially in perspective and in more dynamic poses.
did some portraits during past couple of days for fun.

Nice! I love how you drew the facial expressions, very natural!
But is it just me, or do you tend to vary the head sizes of your figures quite a lot? (More than could be explained by perspective) On the last sheet with figueres I'd say some heads are a bit too big, especially the one from the smiling lady on the left.
Good work though, I'm looking forward to updates!

figure drawing done referencing photos. i'm still overly concern with muscle details when i start out a figure drawing thus each figure took me 20-30 mins.

I'm considering entering the ubisoft-digipen 10-mth Professional Conversion Course for Game Artist which starts next mth. I went for a 2-day 8hr/day entrance exam and is left with an interview if i pass the exam.
design a hybrid char from 3 options in full color
front/side/back/3 quarter + 3 poses
i culdnt finish on the first day, becoz i cant paint n spent 2 hrs trying to figure out how to do so. plus i alreadi draw slow.
final art of prev day design
i manage to SQUEEZE out the colors but this exam made me realise i need to start doing more color studies RIGHT THE FUCK NOW.
i guess i wuld still pass, its not over confidence, i know 16hrs to produce that is not industry standard but its a professional conversion course, they cant expect ppl who arleadi know how to draw n paint n model right, why the fuck wuld i sign up for it if i alreadi can do it professionlly.
i know there r lots of mistakes in anatomy n color, i wuld appreciate if anyone viewing wuld kindly point out those that i shuld focus on or need my immediate attention. that wuld help a lot. thks.
