Is it ok to do my info text like this mods? I wanted it to look like a book, but I'll change it to having the text in the border if this isn't ok

I originally didn't intend for people to put titles on the book (usually it is not the job of the illustrator to do that), but a number of people are doing it and I wasn't too clear on it--long story short I will allow it this time .

Nice round guys! Voted for Jagder, Dreoilin, and tempest-haze!

Jagder: Great painting! Brilliant rendering and great use of textures! It's great the way you used a giant to take up most of the page. There are a few places that seem less finished, but definitely one of the strongest pieces this round! Good job!

Ramariel: Nice stylized design. I can definitely picture this as a book cover! On fenrir you could've probably used a different colour for the linework, cuz the blue doesn't really work out so well I find. And the designs on the top are in need of some filling because they make the piece look unfinished.

Braintree: A neat scene, though giving Fenrir the white colour makes him sort of hide in the background a bit too much, plus a little more contrast between Odin's head and the background would also be an improvement

Fumble: Nice rendering and lighting. The composition works well. I'm having a hard time seeing who this is exactly, especialy since there are no other characters around, this scene doesn't sell Ragnarok more than just a random viking.

Dreoilin: Nice work, I was kinda hoping for a little more form in your characters here, especially on Fenrir, but it definitely still makes a great book cover.

tempest-haze: Very cool depiction of this event of Ragnarok. Some good lighting and rendering however the ground looks a bit wonky, based on the position of Fenrir and the sun goddess there are fairly far apart but shadows on the ground and the trunk indicate the branch Fenrir is standing on is about a foot of the ground.

Whiskey Sour: Nice scene using a lot of the major gods in the event, I feel like this could use even more though, perhaps some gods fighting the Jotun in the background, and whatnot, just to give it that battlefield feel that you get with some other artwork that depicts Ragnarok. The rendering seems a bit incomplete and the character's poses look a little stiff, but a cool piece nonetheless.

Kitten Poker: Neat battle scene with Thor against Jormungandr, with Loki in the background. Thor's body seems a bit too feminine, plus it kinda looks like he's not wearing any pants, this could easily be fixed by adding some stitching and textures. This piece could also use some darker tones around the focal points becasue the entire image is fairly light.

Jae1234: Very neat, but it looks like it still needs some work. There are too many flat surfaces here and the edges are very choppy. To get a better effect Fenrir's eyes need to be more intense, give them a glow that could even reflect off of Odin's helmet and axe and possibly give him a snarl as well, to make him look more fierce.

grenogs: Very nice rendering. A very cool depiction of Thor after his battle, and it's cool to see the slain Jormungandr in the background. I feel like the sky could have a bit more interest, seeing as there is a big open space.

Art is not about competing against others and being better than everyone else, but it is about competing against yourself and discovering your greatest potential!

Jagder and Dreoilin have created great covers. Beautiful. My favorites.

And some of the other pieces turned out better than I expected, although there is very much room for improvement. Keep on hard working.

It would have been great to jump in at the right time but well. I am doing my ragnarok piece anyways, just for my portfolio.
