    Heavy Metal Magazine

I was looking through some old copies of the magazine today. The art work is pretty good and varied in style, but I didn't read the dialogue. Are the stories worth reading, or is the magazine more about the visuals?

Given that they cycle through artists and writers so often, it's on and off. There's some really well written stuff from time to time though. You really have to look.

Me, I haven't looked into the magazine for quite a while, so I'll need to jog my memory to remember the good stuff I read in it.

There have been a few recent issues that have had some good stuff. There were two episodes of a story called Requiem that had some great Pat Mills work in it. I have every issue since '94 and a few dozen from before and I can say that the magazine is very hit and miss, but there is some super art and great stories mixed in, you just need to look for them. I miss Epic magazine.
